Sharjah [ UAE ] is the third largest and third most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, forming part of the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. It is located along the southern coast of the Persian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula.
Sharjah is the capital of the emirate of Sharjah. Sharjah shares legal, political, military and economic functions with the other emirates of the UAE within a federal framework, although each emirate has jurisdiction over some functions such as civil law enforcement and provision and upkeep of local facilities.
Sharjah has been ruled by the Al Qasimi dynasty since the 18th century.
The city is a centre for culture and industry, and alone contributes 7.4% of the GDP of the United Arab Emirates. The city covers an approximate area of 235 km² and has a population of over 800,000 (2008).
Sharjah was one of the wealthiest towns in this region with a settlement in existence for over 5000 years. In the early 18th century, the Qawasim clan (Huwayla tribe) established itself in Sharjah, c.1727 declaring Sharjah independent. On 8 January 1820, Sheikh Sultan I signed the General Maritime Treaty with Britain, accepting a protectorate to keep the Ottoman Turks out. Like four of its neighbours, Ajman, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah, and Umm al-Qaiwain, its position on the route to India made it important enough to be recognised as a salute state.
On 2 December 1971, Sharjah, together with Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Qawain and Fujairah joined in the Act of Union to form the United Arab Emirates. The seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, joined the UAE on 10 February 1972, following giant non-Arab neighbour Iran's annexation of the RAK-owned Tunbs islands.
Like the other former Trucial States, Sharjah's name is known by many stamp collectors because of the large numbers of stamps that were issued by the Sharjah Post Office shortly before the formation of the United Arab Emirates.

TEHRAN:
Tehran (also spelled Teheran) (Persian: تهران), is the capital city of Iran. A bustling metropolis of 14 million people, it is situated at the foot of the towering Alborz mountain range.
Tehran is a cosmopolitan city, with great museums, parks, restaurants, warm friendly people. It deserves at least a few days of your Iranian itinerary.
The city can be roughly divided into two different parts - north and south. The northern districts of Tehran are more prosperous, modern, cosmopolitan and expensive while southern parts is less attractive but cheaper.
At the time of the Zand dynasty, it was a little town that was significant from a strategic point of view. The first of the Qajar kings, Agha Mohammed Khan, named Tehran as the country's capital in 1778, and most of its growth started during the reign of a subsequent Qajar monarch, Fath-Ali Shah. The castle which Agha Mohammed Khan had built was to contain the new majestic buildings.
At the same time, the city's populace was redoubled. Due to the increasing significance of the city, gates, squares and mosques were built and it was at the time of Nassereddin Shah that the city's master sketch was prepared and modern streets were constructed. Later, huge central squares like Toopkhaneh square (now Imam Khomeini) and quite a few military buildings were built. Even though the Qajar dynasty was in a period of decline, Tehran soon took the shape of a modern city. The structure of large government buildings, new streets, recreation centres, urban service organizations, and academic and methodical centres were started, even as most of the old gates and buildings were destroyed and the city's old architectural fabric replaced by a contemporary one.
A combination of factors make Tehran a pleasant place to visit: The dry climate which is constantly cool (at least in the evenings), the proximity of the mountains, the parks and gardens where flowers blossom all through the year, the alleys of trees in the avenues or even smaller streets, and even the water that runs down from the upper city along deep and wide gutters which look like small rivers during spring. The Alborz range on the north of Tehran, which hosts the highest peak in Iran, provides fantastic conditions for ski lovers in the winter. In winter, the mountain hotels and ski-clubs at Shemshak, and Dizine are full several days a week. Some specialist skiers consider the snow value in northern Tehran to be one of the most excellent in the world.
Tehran Metro
Tehran's new metro system is comprised of four lines that will whisk you quickly from one end of the city to the other without having to deal with the noise, pollution and chaos of Tehrani traffic. However, many residents decided to leave their cars and commute by metro, so expect huge crowds during rush hours.
There are five lines (numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) but the two most useful are lines 1 (north to south- currently from Qeytariyeh Station to Haram-e-Motahar Station) and 2 (east to west) which connect at the central Imam Khomeini station. All stations have signs in both Persian and English. Trains run every 10 minutes or less on rush hours (15 minutes on Fridays and holidays) from around 5:30AM-11PM every day.
line1 (red line) recently extended northward to Tajrish station, L1. edit and southward to Kahrizak station, L1.
line2 (blue line) Sadeghieh to Sadeghieh (Tehran) Station, L2, L5. edit to Farhagsara Station, L2. edit
line3 (azur line) from southwest Azadegan Station, L3. edit to northeast Shahid Beheshti Station, L3. (7 km ).
line4 (yellow line) recently extended eastward to Shahid Kolahdooz station, L4. edit and westward to Ekbatan Eram e Sabz Station, L4. transfer to L5
line5 (green line) commuter train Sadeghieh (Tehran) Station, L2, L5. edit to Golshahr Station, L5.
Tickets are valid for 1 or 2 trips (including change of lines) and cost 6,000 or 10,000 rials respectively. There are ticket booths at every station. You can also buy a contactless fare card which is the best option if you are going to use metro a lot, or simply want to have less hassle by paying 20,000 rials for a card and use it on both metro and some city buses (note that if you use this card, you usually pay less than any other tickets, since they charge for the longest trip on the network). There are two dedicated women-only carriages at each end of the train. Women can anyway choose to travel aboard the other carriages.
There are a few apps for Android and iOS devices to assist passengers on using the metro. You can try downloading the Tehran Metro app which is made specially for foreign travelers.

----------------------------------------------------
The United Arab Emirates is a federal absolute monarchy in Western Asia at the southeast end of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordering Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south, as well as sharing maritime borders with Qatar to the west and Iran to the north.
The country is a federation of seven emirates, and was established on 2 December 1971. The constituent emirates are Abu Dhabi(which serves as the capital), Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain. Each emirate is governed by an absolute monarch; together, they jointly form the Federal Supreme Council. One of the monarchs (traditionally always the Emir of Abu Dhabi) is selected as the President of the United Arab Emirates. Islam is the official religion of the UAE and Arabic is the official language (English & Indian languages are widely spoken too).
The UAE's oil reserves are the seventh-largest in the world while its natural gas reserves are the world's seventeenth-largest. Sheikh Zayed, ruler of Abu Dhabi and the first President of the UAE, oversaw the development of the Emirates and steered oil revenues into healthcare, education and infrastructure. The UAE's economy is the most diversified in the Gulf Cooperation Council, while its most populous city of Dubai is an important global city and an international aviation hub.
It appears the land of the Emirates has been occupied for thousands of years. Stone tools recovered from Jebel Faya in the emirate of Sharjah reveal a settlement of people from Africa some 127,000 years ago and one more older habitation from 130,000 years ago. Although in time it developed with civilisations in Mesopotamia and Iran. This contact persisted and became wide-ranging, probably motivated by trade in copper from the Hajar Mountains, which commenced around 3000 BCE. In ancient times, Al Hasa (today's Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia) was part of Al Bahreyn and adjoined Greater Oman (today's UAE and Oman). From the second century AD, there was a movement of tribes from Al Bahreyn towards the lower Gulf, together with a migration among the Azdite Qahtani (or Yamani) and Quda'ah tribal groups from south west Arabia towards central Oman. Sassanid groups were present on the Batinah coast. In 637, Julfar (in the area of today's Ra's al-Khaimah) was an important port that was used as a staging post for the Islamic invasion of the Sassanian Empire.

Ab-Pari Waterfall - Royan, Mazandaran, Iran | آبشار آب پری ، رویان
Ab Pari waterfall is located at E515451 N362839 geographical location in Mazandaran Province. This waterfall is located 5 km from Nour city, near the town of Royan. Trees in Ab Pari waterfall are placed at low distance and most of the areas remained pristine and untouched. This area is located in the vicinity of Kojour and Yoush. Ab Pari waterfall is on the side of the road. This waterfall has no resemblance to the waterfall because a part of the landslide of rocks is condensed at the steep slope of mountain and little water is in the stream among the rocks. However, numerous tourists come to this place on holidays and weekends. The temperature difference of this area with Royan is almost 10 degrees Celsius. Forest trees can be seen in the lower elevations and pine trees can be seen in the higher points.
The end of this road goes to the forest-mountain road of Kojour that access to Kandelus, Doab and Marzan Abad, etc. is provided through Kojour. Along the way, there is also an output for connection to Yoush (birthplace Nima Youshij) and Baladeh. But, Royan forest park and Ab Pari waterfall are located before these. Ab Pari road is so smooth and it has open spaces to settle down that any tourist can easily find a good place.
Here are a few comments from visitors:
1- In an overall look the nature of Ab Pari area and jungle is unique; however the waterfall is not so much full of water like before. You can enjoy the nature more by moving toward upper parts like Kodir or Do Ab.
The only thing that really is painful is the dust and trash left by people in nature.
2- This place is located in Royan city of Mazandaran province. The forests are known here as ab pari and are a place for local people and tourists to entertain. The air here is 5-10 degrees cooler than other parts of the province. You can reach the village of Kadır with a 20-minute drive in the woods, which is a dream come true in most of the time! The wars in this part of the province are somewhat pristine, but rarely seen in those animals and there is generally no danger in this regard.
3- A great spring , you can bring your breakfast and lunch there,a great place for outdoor energetic activity. You can do plenty of different activities such as climbing, swimming, fishing, dancing, grilling... while enjoying the nature. Just have in mind to bring warm coat and a pair of comfortable shoes with yourselves. At the road there are occasional people who sell traditional food which you can buy at a low price and enhance the pleasure of your trip.
4- nice view, great place for photography and picnic with family or friends, usually crowded in Iranian holidays, best season for visit in my opinion is either spring or fall. easy access from road. not a great road and way to go there but better than many other places. safe for families and tourists.
5- u can access this waterfall easily beside the road u dont need walking u can climb up at waterfall it has very good drinking water beside of road u can find some traditional locals Food Stands sells traditional soup ,grilled corn,KASHKE BADEMJAAN(traditional food with eggplant) and some other traditional food and fires tea
if u continue the road u can camp beside the river and after than u can see GALANDEROOD village after than reach to Balade adn Yush famous historical village till SiyahBishe(Chaloos-Tehran)road
& ...
