Norheimsund is the administrative centre of the municipality of Kvam in Hordaland county, Norway. The village is located on the northern side of the Hardangerfjord, about 80 kilometres from the city of Bergen. The village of Øystese lies about 4 kilometres to the northeast and the village of Vikøy lies about 3 kilometres southeast of Norheimsund. The village of Steine is a suburb, immediately to the west of Norheimsund. 1. Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall Norheimsund
Steinsdalsfossen is a waterfall in the village of Steine in the municipality of Kvam in Hordaland county, Norway. The waterfall is located about 2 kilometres west of the large village of Norheimsund which sits along the Hardangerfjorden.The waterfall is one of the most visited tourist sites in Norway. From the parking lot, the path goes along the waterfall, up a hill, and behind it where visitors can walk dryshod into the rumbling water. Steinsdalsfossen is 46 metres high, with a main drop of 20 metres , and has the greatest volume when the snow melts in May and June. Steinsdalsfossen is part of the Fosselva river that comes from the water of the lake Myklavatnet, located 814 metres above sea level in the mountains above the waterfall.

2. Latefossen Odda
Låtefossen or Låtefoss is a waterfall located in the municipality of Odda in Hordaland County, Norway. The 165-metre tall waterfall is unique and thus it is a well-known tourist attraction in the area. It is special in that it consists of two separate streams flowing down from the lake Lotevatnet, and as they fall, the join together in the middle of the waterfall, just before going under the Norwegian National Road 13, making for a spectacular view as one drives over the old, stone, six-arched bridge.

3. Buarbreen Odda
Buarbreen or Buerbreen is a glacier in the municipality of Odda in Hordaland county, Norway. It is an offshoot of the large Folgefonna glacier. The small glacial arm reaches down into the Buerdalen valley, just 6 kilometres southwest of the town of Odda. The glacier is split into two parts, one on either side of a small mountain peak. Both sides drain into the Jordalselvi river which flows out through the valley into the lake Sandvinvatnet.

#justbeautifulNorway It was a wonderful rainy-sunny day in Norway.Fabulous journeys through tunnels and around the wonderful nature everywhere. I can just walk under and behind the waterfall Steinsdalsfossen. Thank you my brothers Jacek and Mirek. I will came back to Norway soon.
This is one of the best-known and photographed waterfalls of the country. A path leads past the waterfall so that visitors can get between the rock face and the water.

Norway - Hardangerfjorden

The Hardanger fjord is the second largest in Norway and among the most picturesque of them all. The edge of Hardangervidda is where the mountain plateau looms over a large waterfall. At the bottom the fjord ends, or begins like in this video. We take on a drive on the northern side of the fjord, on narrow roads, past small villages, on the ferries that still exist. It was a long day, but a rewarding one under the clear, blue sky.

Der Steinsdalsfossen ist einer der meistbesuchten Wasserfälle Norwegens. Er ist Teil des Flusses Fosselva und hat eine Höhe von ca. 50 m. Ein Weg führt hinter den Wasserfall, so dass Besucher zwischen Felswand und Wasser gelangen können.

Auf der Expo 2000 in Hannover war ein 15 m hohes Modell des Steinsdalsfossen Teil der norwegischen Ausstellung.
