Nucetto is a comune in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres southeast of Turin and about 40 kilometres east of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 451 and an area of 7.6 square kilometres .The municipality of Nucetto contains the frazioni Villa, Nicolini, Caramelli, Livrato, Cadirei, Roatta, and Stra' veia. Nucetto borders the following municipalities: Bagnasco, Battifollo, Ceva, and Perlo.

1. Sacra di San Michele Sant Ambrogio Di Torino
The Sacra di San Michele, sometimes known as Saint Michael's Abbey, is a religious complex on Mount Pirchiriano, situated on the south side of the Val di Susa in the territory of the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Torino, in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont region of northwestern Italy. The abbey, which for much of its history came under Benedictine rule, is now entrusted to the Rosminians. A special regional law acknowledges it as the Symbolic monument of the Piedmont region. This monumental abbey served as one of the inspirations for the book The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco.

Travelling by train from Torino in Italy to Modane in France will take you through some stunning scenery including tunnels through the Alps! The trip takes about two hours by train and you will cross one international border before you arrive. In fact, before the European Union came into being, this was the main train line between Paris and Torino! The French side of the border was in Modane and it was here where they checked your passport in the past.

Now that there is no passport control, the train only stops to pick up or drop off more passengers.
