Colorado, a western U.S. state, has a diverse landscape of arid desert, river canyons and snow-covered Rocky Mountains, which are partly protected by Rocky Mountain National Park.
Colorado is known all over the country as one of the most active, happy, safe, outdoorsy, and all around naturally beautiful states in the U.S.
A brilliant landscape of mountains, high plains, canyons, rivers, forests and desert lands make Colorado one of the most desirable states to live and visit.
Perched a mile above sea level, Denver, Colorado’s capital and largest city, features a vibrant downtown area.
The Rocky Mountains cut a dramatic trail through the state’s center, there are rivers and lakes so blue they make the sky look washed out, and once you visit some of those unique Colorado cities, you may well just move there.
Colorado's southwest corner borders Arizona, Utah and New Mexico, the only place in America where the corners of four states meet.
The best places to live in Colorado include Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Lakewood, Denver,...
Universities like Colorado, Colorado State and the U.S. Air Force Academy grace the education scene, while pro sports teams include the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche.

THIS PLACE EXISTS? OFF GRID DESERT BAR Parker, Arizona
WAY OFF THE GRID is the DESERT BAR in Parker, Arizona. Just outside Lake Havasu City. While we have been full time RV Living out here in Quartzsite, Arizona we decided it was time for an adventure of off roading and seeing this sustainable off grid bar. We took our Ram 3500 Dually out on the path that isn't too bumpy and got to experience some beautiful scenery.
The Desert Bar is located between Parker, Arizona and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The bar is completely off grid and is powered by solar panels. They accept only cash and have 3 places to purchase food. The owner hopes to eventually build a town out at the desert bar.
These experiences are why we love living in a RV and traveling across the US in our RV. Adventure is around every corner and we are so thankful for the time we have been able to spend with our new friends our here in Quartzsite, Arizona.
We took our drones for a flight around the Desert Bar. My phantom 3 standard flew well in the wind that we had that day. And the Desert Bar from the air looks incredible! Our RV life has us on an adventure of a life time and we live for experiences like this! Tiny living truly has made it possible for us to see the beautiful world around us!

OUR STORY
We are Josh and Kali from Seattle, Washington. In 2015 we decided to change our lives. We sold everything we owned bought a RV and a truck starting living in our RV full time in 30 days! Full time rv living was a major change for us. We hadn't made any plans to change to this rv life until one day it hit us we couldn't have the American Dream and travel to. Choosing to travel meant downsizing our life and becoming minimalists. It was the BEST decision we have ever made. Now we plan to travel non-stop in our 33ft. fifth wheel full time. Join the adventure as we RV across the United States (US)

Parker to Lake Havasu AZ & London Bridge 2019 Season 2 Vlog 22
Parker is the county seat of La Paz County, Arizona, United States, on the Colorado River in Parker Valley.
Lake Havasu City is in western Arizona. It’s known as a base for trails in the nearby desert and water sports on Lake Havasu. London Bridge, relocated from England, links the mainland to marinas and a looped path in an area known as the Island. The Lake Havasu Museum of History documents Native American and steamboat history. Lake Havasu State Park has beaches with mountain views, plus picnic spots and birdlife
London Bridge is a bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It was built in the 1830s and formerly spanned the River Thames in London, England. It was dismantled in 1967 and relocated to Arizona.

River Tubing under 4 Hours from Vegas
#1 - The Virgin River in Zion National Park - 2 hours 31 minutes from Las Vegas
The closest tubing to Las Vegas can be found less than 3 hours away in the Virgin River at Zion National Park. Virgin River Tubing is available during late Spring and early Summer. This is a fun way to experience Zion. Tubing the Virgin River can be relaxing in parts but also has some rocky sections that provide a little adventure.
If you’d like to go for a hike then float down the river to your car, then choose the Narrows! It's the most popular hike in Zion for good reason. Actually, entire trail is basically the Virgin River. From the parking lot expect a 2-3 hour hike to your final destination of Big Springs.
If your looking to rent a tube and hit the river then check out ZionOutfitter.com. These guys are the pros and will set you up for a great ride.
During tubing season of May to July,, tubes may be rented from ZionOutfitters and floated 2 miles down the river to the Springdale City Park. They suggest tubers are at least 8 years of age as the river can become unsafe in spots for small children. Life jackets are available for rent and a must have for your own safety. When done just leave your tubes on their beach and get onto the FREE city shuttle stop back to the shop!
Virgin River Tubing is only available when the river is at an appropriate level for both safety and enjoyment. Click HERE for updated report of the river flow and also check our Home page for our updates on tubing availability!
#2 Parker, AZ Annual Tube Float - 2hrs 48min
Parker AZ is under 3 hours from Las Vegas and hosts fun yearly tubing event! Lots has changed for this event starting in 2017.
The route has been shortened and the event area has actually been relocated. Now launching at Buckskin Mountain State Park which is just south of Pirate’s Den, where they used to launch.
The route was shortened to just under 3 miles verses the past route of almost 8 miles. The cost of the event for floaters will go up from $10 to $20 starting in 2017 but hey, it’s a fundraiser!
In another new change, shuttles will be provided for the drivers of private vehicles who want to drop their fellow participants off at Buckskin and then park at the finish line at La Paz County Park. The shuttles will bring those drivers north to Buckskin where entire groups can then float back to where their vehicles are parked.
The finish line festivities at La Paz County Park event area will include food and beverages for purchase by the Black Pearl Restaurant, live music and our prize drawing for registered participants. Merchandise vendors and sponsors of the event will be on hand in the event area as well.
See our description below for a link to this event for rules, regulations, and updates!
Website: #3 on our list is The Kern River just 4 and a half hours from Las Vegas to Southern California.
Just an hour outside of Bakersville this river route passes through the scenic Sequoia National Forest. The snow run off from Mt. Whitney creates a series of rapids that eventually give way to a placid lake.
Check out SoCal Rafting for tubing supplies and shuttles starting in June when the water levels are safest for tubing adventures. The Kern River is not an easy river to tube. This is a rowdy ride!! You can get bumped, bruised and fall off your tube. It's OK to walk around some rapids if needed.
Children under 8 are not recommended for tubing as the rapids can be dangerous. Lifejackets and a helmet are included in SoCal Rafting shuttle rental fees. You can find Socal Rafting’s link in our description below.

What Happens At BURNING MAN!?
So we went to Burning Man 2015! We drove an RV from Vancouver with a group of friends and stayed and lived in it for a week in the middle of the desert. It's really hard to describe the event as anything short of an alternate universe. Enjoy these snippets of our adventures!
