Partenit is a seaside urban-type settlement under the administrative jurisdiction of the town of regional significance of Alushta in the southern part of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. Population: 6,193 .Lying just east of a mountain which Turkish speakers named Ayu Dağ , Partenit is on a fairly flat coastal plot of land, although the elevation quickly rises the further away one goes from the sea.
