Cruising Around Croatian Islands
While relaxing for a week in Croatia, we discovered a one-day boat tour by chance and chose to go on it the following day. We aren’t usually tour people, but this tour blew us away and was completely worth it.
The tour was through Plavi Val. With them, we went to the Kornati National Park where we cruised around the area, went swimming on a white sand beach (VERY rare in Croatia) called Levernaka, explored the park itself, and had some glorious coffee in an adorable small town called Sali.
On top of the phenomenal excursions, we were provided a free scrumptious lunch and UNLIMITED WINE. Yeah. It was kind of a dream come true!

Biograd na moru
Biograd na moru is a city and a municipality located in northern Dalmatia in Croatia and is significant for being the former capital of the medieval Croatian Kingdom. Biograd is administratively part of the Zadar County. It is located on the coast of the Adriatic sea, overlooking the island of Pašman, on the road from Zadar and Sukošan towards Vodice and Šibenik.
The white town on the sea
The town's native Croat name fully translates as the white town on the sea. Biograd na moru was once considered the crown city of Croatian kings. But today it is a well-recognised nautical and tourist centre situated at the very heart of the Adriatic coast. The city, tailored to suit everyone’s preferences, lies on the peninsula surrounded by a promenade and contemporary marinas from which a memorable view can be seen all the way to the Pašman Channel and islets scattered in it.
Thanks to its decades-long tradition in tourism, colourful heritage and tourist offer, culinary specialties and sporting events, Biograd has become an attractive holiday destination. Moreover, it is located at the centre of the Adriatic coast, surrounded by the lasting beauty of national and nature parks.
Here are the top 6 things you must see or do when you visit Biograd, Croatia:
6. Tennis courts and swimming pool Ilirija
The courts are fully equipped and accompanied by numerous other services such as changing rooms, a cafe, a pizzeria and toilets. They are also illuminated during the night, in case you are interested in for some huffing and puffing while everyone else are deep asleep. Read more about it here:

5. Dražica beach

The beach is set along a beautifully arranged promenade with many cafes, restaurants and shops and stalls. This is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful beach in Biograd and is a must see! Read more about it here:
4.Camping park Soline
Situated in the shade of a thick pinewood, next to a sandy and pebble beach, covering around 15 ha of attractive plots for accommodation of campers, camping trailer and tents, that gradually descend towards the coast. The auto camp is situated near Biograd, which can be easily reached if you stroll down the newly built sea promenade along the most attractive Biograd beaches.
3. Nature park Lake Vrana (Park prirode Vransko jezero)
