3, 2, 1... go Bruges- a family city break
Bruges’ cobbled streets, enchanting architecture, quaint squares and beautiful canals make the compact city the perfect family weekend away. We explored this World Heritage city on a weekend break from the UK.
Bruges, situated in Flanders Belgium is a little over an hour’s drive from Calais or Dunkerque. The whole city centre of Bruges is so pretty! Everything was walking distance from our city centre hotel, the family-friendly Novotel. The well-preserved buildings radiate history within the moated city walls. Everywhere you look there is intricate detail in the architecture. Walking in Bruges is a like walking onto a fairytale film set, but don’t just take our word for it…see for yourself!
