Some say that the journey from the coast to the jungle of Peru across the central Andes is the most fascinating in the whole country - riding on the bus for 8 hours along a 300-km road over Anticona Pass, the highest at 4818 m, the landscapes are impressive and photogenic!
This video was recorded with a camcorder placed on the dashboard on the second floor of the bus (front row seats), in July 2015. The drive was from the capital, Lima, to a small city, La Merced, in the high jungle (Selva Central) part of the country. The trip took about 9 hours by bus (a lot faster by car).
