URBEX: A semi abandoned commercial building. Talal Building, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Talal Building, Yaffo, Tel Aviv, Israel.
An commercial building that most of it's parts are inactive. The building looks way different than it's environment.
The building was built in the 1990s by Talal Abu Mana near an old Christian cemetary.
The building used to host the Sharia Courthouse of Tel Aviv and HaMishlama LeYaffo offices until both moved to a new location at Jerusalem blvd.
Currently only the first parking floor, the gas station and a russian supermarket are active. But you can still access the office floors via the stairwell and the elevator as this space contains toilets on the 3rd floor that are still active and sometimes the area is rented for movies.
From the west size that some windows on this side are gone there is a great view to the Mediterranean Sea.
The building has 3 underground parking floors but only the first one is active and uses as a parking garage for the russian supermarket.
The building was sold to Da Cohen in the recent years and the building is planned to be converted to a residential building with addition of 6 floors to the existing building.

London Districts: Bankside
This short film covers off the London district of 'Bankside' as a guided tour with some light historical commentary and stuff. My intention is to highlight a few things that maybe you didn't know about certain areas of London.
Transcription:
----------------------------------------
Bankside is a district in the London Borough of Southwark on the southern bank of the River Thames, just over a mile from Charing Cross.
The district is almost sandwiched between Blackfriars Bridge at its west side and London Bridge to its east.
This is a full-scale replica of Sir Francis Drake’s famous ship, the Golden Hinde. He is documented as the first to circumnavigate the globe on his quest to defeat the Spanish Armada.
Winchester Palace was the 12th-century home to the powerful Bishops of Winchester who pretty much owned and ran 'Banke syde'. The first Clink prison in 1127 was a cellar inside this ancient structure and as you can see, some of it still remains.
In the Middle Ages, Bankside was an ill-reputed place to avoid. Falling just outside the City’s jurisdiction meant it was free to allow unsavoury practices outlawed there.
It attracted crime and disorder from an area heavily populated with stews and their 'Winchester Geese' or in todays language, brothels and their local women.
Shakespeare’s Globe is part of the Bankside’s Cultural Quarter, which welcomes thousands of visitors every day. It has a long history and has been rebuilt several times from its birthplace in Shoreditch as the first Theatre. The latest incarnation of it stems from Shakespeare's Globe Trust spearheaded by actor-director Sam Wanamaker.
Apparently, the tourist attraction of the Globe was greatly overshadowed by some kind of gallery nearby.
The £18 million London Millennium Footbridge was the result of a bridge building competition win held by Southwark Council. It's the first River Thames bridge built in over a hundred years.
When it opened in 2000, about 2000 people crammed themselves onto it at once and made it wobble. This scared everyone, so the engineers closed it immediately for a couple of years to stabilise the swaying movement.
The skyline of Bankside is dominated by the former Bankside Power Station, which is now the Tate Modern.
It opened on the 11th of May 2000 and holds the national collection of British art from 1900 up until now. In its first year, Tate Modern received twice the amount of visitors than the other galleries did combined.
Most of the galleries are free to enjoy all year round with temporary major exhibitions occurring regularly in addition.
The most accessible Tube station to the area is London Bridge. Southwark Tube station is about a 10 minute walk away. You also have Blackfriars mainline station.
The impoverished population of the neighbourhood lived in unsanitary and overcrowded conditions. Once the war eventually took its toll, it fell into a derelict state of lifelessness.
In recent decades, the area has been completely overhauled and its location and attractions draw significant amounts of visitors. Today, it is a prominent hotspot for sightseeing, entertainment and relaxation which helps aid its status as a business improvement district under the term 'Better Bankside'.
This striking new 10-storey extension to the Tate Modern is intrinsically artistic and was officially named as the 'Blavatnik building' after billionaire Sir Leonard Blavatnik funded most of its £260 million construction. It was built on top of three large, circular, underground oil tanks which are now live performance spaces.
The Blavatnik design pissed off the neighbours off so badly they launched a high court privacy battle. The 10th floor balcony directly overlooks their multi-million pound flats next door and they complain of living in a goldfish bowl as tourists stare at them inside their homes and take pictures to share on social media.

I'm Sarah and I like to call myself a Food Traveler as I’m the living version of Yelp and TripAdvisor. I like to travel and eat, but of course, absorb new cultures and languages through my meals and travels. Traveling, eating and cooking, are my way to enjoy and learn about multiculturalism. My way to appreciate other cultures and learn about the big world we live in.
That's why I started this b, to be an accessory for my YouTube channel. I vlog when abroad, like to try the best, affordable and typical food and share it with the world. I'm also a Tel Avivit, New Yorker and Marseillaise by heart but I'm an Antwerpian French with Kabyle roots by birth.
I'm a soon Communications graduate with a true passion for anything media. I work as a reporter for ATV (Antwerp regional TV) and the city of Antwerp. My dream is to become a food, travel and culture reporter, this way I would be able to work and develop my passion at the same time. You want to know more? We have visited #Malta for 5 days in July 2018. I did not have any high expectations about Malta but Malta blew my mind. The country is very lively and has amazing architecture, churches and landscapes such as Blue Lagoon, Blue Grotto, St Peter's Pool and others.. But.. the most beautiful place which is hardly reached by tourists was FOMM IR RIH it was something from a different world and the cliffs looked amazing! Not to forget to mention Mdina and Valletta no words can describe them :) My advise when you visiting Malta is to hire a car if you would like to explore the island as much as you can. Unfortunately we didn't had the chance to go to Gozo but it will be priority number 1 when we return next time!
P.S. Maltese people are very friendly, helpful, speak fluent English and love to spend their money on fireworks. So if you hear fireworks during your time in Malta be aware it is not some kind of occasion they are celebrating they are just doing it for fun!
Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE! :) More travel videos to come - next destination is Crete in September and deciding where to go next, maybe Philippines or Vietnam? What's on your 'bucket list' when it comes to travel? Please let us know ! (:
