Pitre is a surname found amongst the original Acadian settlers in Canada. The progenitor of this Acadian family was one Jean Pitre, b: Abt. 1636; d: Abt. 1689 Port Royal, Acadia. Jean Pitre arrived in Port Royal, Acadia, around 1659 during the English occupation of Acadia from 1654-1667. Around 1664, he married Marie Pesselet, the daughter of Isaac Pesselet and Barbe Bajolet. They had nine children: Marie , Catherine , Claude , Marc , Pierre , Jean , Francois , Marguerite , Jeanne . The first Jean Pitre was a taillandier . 1. FORT BRAVO / TEXAS HOLLYWOOD Tabernas
Texas Hollywood/Fort Bravo is a Western-styled theme park in the province of Almería in Spain. Built in the early 1970s, it lies a few kilometres to the north of the N-340 road highway , near the town of Tabernas. Around 1977, Rafa Molina, a stuntman, bought the set for US$6,000 to improve his job opportunities if the set was to be used for filming. In the early 1980s, he started charging visitors money to tour the set. Mock shoot-outs and barroom brawls were later added, and one of the buildings was converted into a full saloon to sell beer. It is now known as Fort Bravo. The building architecture in Texas Hollywood is of two different styles built back to back split between two different areas. Spain - Port of Motril (Villages of Las Alpujarras)

Motril is a small agricultural and industrial port located south of Granada on the Mediterranean Coast about halfway between the larger ports of Malaga and Almeria. Cruise ships use the port to disembark passengers for tours of Granada and Alhambra. The only other tour normally offered from this port is to the white-washed villages of Las Alpujarras in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This videos highlights a trips to the villages of Pampaneira and Lanjaron.

Haiti is a country located in the West Indies which takes up about one third of the western part of the island of Hispaniola. Haiti lies in between The Atlantic Ocean to the North and The Caribbean Sea to the South. Haiti has been known for many violent and tumultuous times but there are many things a person either researching or visiting Haiti may not know.

There are two official languages in Haiti. One of them being Haitian Creole which is a language based on mainly french influences is also influenced by African, Spanish and English languages. The other official language is French.

The geography of Haiti is unique as two thirds of the country is made up of mountainous regions. The other parts of the country are made up of valleys, plateaus, and small plains.

Nearly eighty percent of Haiti is made up of Christian followers who share roots with Roman Catholic beliefs. The remainder of individuals in Haiti are generally Protestant and various other religions. While in some countries a large population being of a single religion is uncommon due to diversity and other factors.

The government of Haiti is a semi-presidential republic where individual leaders are elected based upon a popular election system. The legal system of Haiti can be seen as based on a version of Napoleonic code. This code, created by Napoleon in 1801, offers protection of religious beliefs, government jobs for the most qualified, and also eliminated the practice of privileges gained at birth.

Recently, Haiti suffered a major earthquake in 2010. The magnitude of the earthquake was 7,0. The affects of the earthquake and its magnitude rivaled anything that had been seen in the area in over 200 years. Officially, the death toll caused by the earthquake of 2010 was approximately 316,000 as stated by the government.
