Pleven, modern and pretty Military City
Pleven is a modern and pretty Military City in north central Bulgaria. It is home to modern shopping centres, a modern bus network and also a huge museum housed in the old miltary barracks. The centre has a large pedestrianised zone consisting of park space and a shopping street.
The Best Bulgarian Places - Gortalovo
Gortalovo is one of the most beautiful places in Bulgaria. It is situated near to the city of Pleven. The village is settled in a picturesque canyon through which Chernelka river passes. For the lovers of walking among nature, Gortalovo offers a great opportunity for an interesting eco route which could surprise you with breathtaking views and pleasant respite spots.

Holiday in Bulgaria Pleven - Panorama Pleven/ Urlaub in Bulgarien
The most interesting sight in Pleven is The Pleven Epic - Panorama Pleven. It was built in 1977 in honor of the liberation of Pleven from the Ottomans during the Russian-Turkish war in the Balkans.
You can see exhibits of weapons, which Russian troops on the territory of Pleven Panorama used at the Battle of Pleven.
Also in the museum are exhibits, personal belongings, church supplies and paintings.
The top floor is a huge panoramic picture which shows a third assault before capture Pleven.

Es wurde 1977 zu Ehren der Befreiung von Pleven von den Osmanen während des russisch-türkischen Krieges auf dem Balkan gebaut.Sie können Exponate von Waffen, die russische Truppen auf dem Territorium von Pleven Panorama verwendet in der Schlacht von Pleven zu sehen.Auch im Museum sind Exponate, persönliche Sachen, Kirchenbedarf und Gemälde.
Die obere Etage ist ein riesiges Panorama-Bild, das einen dritten Angriff vor der Einnahme Pleven zeigt.

Varna is a port city and seaside resort on Bulgaria's Black Sea, adjacent to the coastal resorts of Golden Sands, St. Konstantin and Albena. It's famous for the Gold of Varna, 6,000-year-old Thracian jewelry discovered in a necropolis. The jewelry's displayed inside the Archaeological Museum, along with Greek, Roman and Ottoman antiquities. A bar-lined waterfront promenade fronts 19th-century Primorski Park.

Things to definitely do in Plovdiv:
1. Walk around the vibrant High Street, stop at a terrance, enjoy a cold Zagorka and have some Bulgarian food.
2. Go check the Small Roman Stadium just at the end of the High Street
3. Walk around the Old Town streets and enjoy really awesome buildings, take selfies and then explore some more
4. Visit the Plovdiv Roman Stadium, which is the big Amphitheatre in the Old Town, it's super old and really cool ! Just like a mini colosseum
5. Go check Alyosha's statue which is up on a hill, you will get a super nice view of Plovdiv
6. Stop at Kapana, a street full of art, food and music. Super vibrant.

BULGARIA - THE OLD COUNTRY
I took a trip to my home country of Bulgaria - the oldest country in Europe. The place is full of rich heritage and ancient history. I wanted to capture the everyday life of this place so I took along my camera and wandered through the streets of Sofia, Pleven and Ruse.
