Langkawi Malaysia Island Trip: Must Visit Langkawi Attractions [Small Girl Big World]
This video bring the the very best of top must visit Langkawi attractions. Langkawi Malaysia is the jewel of State of Kedah in Malaysia and it is situated north of Peninsular Malaysia and at the Andaman Sea. Langkawi island is a tourism island and it is famous for being a tax free island.
There are so many fun things to do in Langkawi Island. There are two ways to go into Langkawi Malaysia. You can either take a direct flight into the Langkawi island or take boat or ferry from Kuala Kedah and Penang. If you take boat or ferry, you will be transported to the Kuah Jetty. Kuah is the largest town in Langkawi Kedah.
Next to the Langkawi's Kuah Jetty, you can walk to the nearby Eagle Square. Here you will find the iconic huge eagle sculptures. From this square also, many great view of boat and cruises can been seen.
It is advisable to engage local agency to allow you Langkawi island hopping between few smaller nearby island. They will follow a standard route where a Langkawi tour guide will be bring you to a spectacular view of eagle feeding. These Langkawi tour guide or boatman know the best place to see the eagle and upon reaching then the boatman will throw some food to the water and we can see the impressive dive hunting of the eagle towards the food.
Next the boatman will stop at an island called Beras Basah Island (aka Wet Rice Island). You can have some water activities here and the water is pristine and clean.
Next stop of the Langkawi island hopping will be the Dayang Bunting Island where the Dayang Bunting Geoforest is situated. This place is a natural wonder and I considered one of the best Langkawi attractions. Within the island itself there is a big lake where you can see a sort of life having wonderful time there. What make this island special is that at the another end of the island, there is a tiny rock that separate between the sea and lake.
If you are going to the visit Langkawi cable car from Kuah, then you will definitely pass to a place called Look Out Point Langkawi. This is one of the underrated Langkawi attractions. Just a short climb up the stairs, you would have a panoramic view of the of west Langkawi and the whole airport. Come here to relax and watch the airplane to land and depart.
Next, visit the Beras Terbakar Site (aka Burned Rice Site). This is the traditional Malay House where the site was the paddy farm that was burned down during the battle with the Siamese Army. What's left now is the Malay house and souvenir shops outside it.
While on the way to visit Langkawi cable car also, you will come across to Telaga Harbour Marina. This is the place where the yacht, cruise and boat was parked. The Langkawi attraction view is breathtaking and it is a very good photo taking spot. This place also enable you to view the Langkawi sky bridge from far away.
The highlight of Langkawi trip; the cable car is one of the top attractions. The Langkawi Cable car will bring you up to the peak of the mountain where the Langkawi Sky Bridge is situated. At the peak of the mountain, I was greeted by 360 degree of whole island. I can see, the mountains, sea, beaches and civilizations.
At the foot of the Langkawi cable car is the Oriental Village. This place is fun as there are many food, fun stations and activities to do here. You can visit the 360 degree VR movie and a 3d wall art. Also inside the 3D wall art, there is a splendid 3D show every hour. The wall art illusions also very mind bending.
Langkawi trip without Pantai Cenang beach will be a regret of your life. It is a one of commercialize Langkawi beaches but still preserved the authenticity of local culture, you will find abundance of seafood, bar, pub and variety of cuisine here. Water activities can be found here and although it is a bit crowded, it still a good place to visit.
So if you are leaving with an airplane and do not wish to wait at airport, come to the beach where less people come. It just beside the Langkawi airport. The location is at (6.325246, 99.722684)
Langkawi is so FUN. Come and visit Langkawi attractions yourself and experience it.

Top 7 Things to do in Langkawi | How to Spend 4 Days in Langkawi | Langkawi Travel Tips
We made this small langkawi travel guide video based on our backpacking trip experience in langkawi. This video is
about top 7 things to do in Langkawi Island, Malaysia.
Please note we did not maintain any chronological order such as best to worst (!) or vice versa. But we sorted spots based on their location, for example: we included Telaga Tujuh Water fall in the 'Oriental Village' because the location of these 2 places are very close, just 5 min drive. Also in the itinerary I suggested to visit Eagle Square on the same day you visit Pulau Payar Marine Park as you will come through Kuah Jetty, and Eagle Square is right next to Kuah Jetty. In my opinion it will help first time visitors to plan their own trip easily and will make them avoid visiting the same location twice.
It will be a matter of big pleasure for us if our effort helps you enjoy Langkawi. We also included a basic 4 day 3 night itinerary.
Wishing all of you a very memorable trip to Langkawi
