Bucovina Village Museum ,Romania
Bucovina Village Museum is one of the best and beautiful places I've been. This museum recreates the old fashion villages very close to reality. I loved that they added old songs so the atmosphere is almost real.

Bucovina is one of the most attractive and visited touristic areas in Romania. No wonder this area(famous today all over the world) was given in 1975 the Pomme d'Or international prize by The International Federation of Travel Writers and Tourism Journalists. The century-old architecture monuments together with the frescos from this country spot were listed by UNESCO among all the universal art monuments.
Keeper of ancient civilization, where history and legend merge together, Suceava district holds evidences of man's presence from ancient times.The 96 incineration tombs found out at Zvoristea, as well as the archaeological discoveries in Silistea Scheii, Suceava , Bosanci and Dolhestii Mari, prove that Thracian --Geta and Dacian settlements existed there a long time ago.
The lands of Suceava represented the places where Moldavia became an independent and feudal state in the 14th century. Locations such as Baia, Siret, Suceava, Radauti still keep edifices (fortresses, church foundations, princely homes) dating the time of the first Moldavian voivods. Other localities, such as Putna, became a strong manifestation for Romanian people's sense for an united nation. To this common sense many important persons contributed: Mihai Eminescu, Mihai Slavici, Ciprian Porumbescu and some other young people that came here all over Romanian lands. This fact strongly expresses the active role the people from these lands have played along the history.

HOREZU, Romania
Horezu ceramics is a unique type of Romanian pottery that is traditionally produced by hand.
Horezu pottery was inscribed on UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists in December 2012.
Located in Valcea County, at the foot of Capatanii Mountains, Horezu Monastery is considered to be the most representative construction in the Brâncovenesc style and t has been included in the UNESCO patrimony.

Mon voyage en Roumanie se poursuit- Partie 2
Dans la première partie de mon voyage nous avons séjourné à SIGUISOARA, ville saxonne de la Transylvanie, et visité son centre historique intégré au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, la cité médiévale où il est né VLAD PETER Dracul, fils du Dragon, (Dracula) et fait un court arrêt à CRISTURU SECUESC. Puis, après avoir gouté aux gâteaux kurtos nous avons poursuivis la route en voiture vers d'autres lieux,
Et c'est ainsi que nous avons traversé un village aux cigognes, lesquelles, loin d'être dérangées par la circulation, semblent regarder celle-ci avec curiosité...
Mon guide bifurque sur une route secondaire, arrête la voiture à l'ombre d'une rangée d'arbres, et m'invite à visiter une petite église fortifiée (dont j'ai oublié le nom de l'endroit où elle se trouve.) Mon premier contacte avec l'une des nombreuses églises fortifiées de la Transylvanie que nous visiterons. Construites à partir du XIe siècle par les Saxons pour protéger l'Ouest des invasions de l'Est, principalement des Turcs. Les villages s'organisant autour des églises fortifiées.
Au cours du voyage, nous croisons ou dépassons des paysans qui rentrent le foin ou qui se rendent aux champs, souvent avec des charrettes tirées par des chevaux, équipées de pneus, avant d'arriver jusqu'à ODORHEIU SECUIRESC, Capitale des Sicules, située dans le département de Harghita dans la Transylvanie roumaine. Centre historique, traditionnel et culturel, Odorheiu Secuiesc est renommé par ses écoles, ses lycées et ses instituts supérieurs.
Continuant le voyage vers LAZAREA nous marquons un arrêt au bord de la route pour regarder les produits locaux exposés dans des échoppes juxtaposés les unes aux autres, tenues patiemment par les vendeurs qui ont l'espoir, que les voyageurs s'arrêteront par curiosité d'abord, et pour acheter en suite.
Plus loin, attirés par l'activité ambiante qui a lieu pas très loin du col de Bucin, 1 200 m, nous nous arrêtons pour nous mêler aux hommes qui s'affairent au chargement du bois dans les nombreuses charrettes, qui seront tirées jusqu'à leur destination par des chevaux qui semblent avoir l'habitude d'une telle besogne.
La Roumanie possède de grandes forêts dont certaines presque sauvages, ont été louées ou mises en vente aux étrangers.
Poursuivant notre route nous arrivons à LAZAREA, avec l'intention de visiter le château des comtes de Lazar en cours de restauration. Nous visitons l'exposition de statues en plain air, qui tient lieu dans la cour du château, et les expositions d'art ethnographique de tissages, broderies, tapis et icones sicules, qui se tiennent dans les différents bâtiments du château.
Terminant notre visite à Lazarea, avec une visite extérieur du Monastère des franciscains, fondé en 1642. (vu l'heure tardive de notre arrivée, nous n'avons pu y rentrer à l'intérieur.) Terminant ainsi cette deuxième partie de Mon voyage en Roumanie et vous donnant rendez-vous aux prochains épisodes, si vous le voulez bien.

My advice to you is not to visit only Bucharest but to visit all romania because is a very beautyfull country despite what other says.
