Risskov is the name of both a neighbourhood and a district in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. The district of Risskov is sometimes referred to as Vejlby-Risskov, as it is a merger of the neighbourhood of Risskov and the neighbourhood of Vejlby. The old neighbourhood of Risskov at the seaside of the Aarhus Bay, is one of the most affluent areas in Denmark.

Egå Engsø is an artificial lake and wetland site located in the north of the town of Aarhus between Vejlby, Risskov and Lystrup. Engsø means 'meadow lake' and Egå means 'oak stream', referring to the stream that drains the lake into the Aarhus bay. The lake area is bordered by the Djursland motorway to the north and the Aarhus-Grenaa railway and the municipal heating pipes from Studstrup Power Station to the south and west.

It is a part of Aarhus University Hospital and resides in the same buildings as the Psychiatric Hospital in Risskov. The museum also offers social programmes directed at psychiatric patients, including an open atelier, creative workshops and a café.The hospital opened in 1852 under the name “Jydske Asyl” in buildings designed by Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll. The art museum is on the ground floor of the buildings and holds a collection 12.000 works by psychiatric patients of which 850 are on display. Risskov Kirke is a church located in the Risskov Parish of the Danish city, Aarhus.The Risskov Parish separated from the Vejlby Parish 30 November 1940. The Church was originally built in 1922 as a villa for chocolatier Fritz George Clausen , founder of the chocolate factory Elvirasminde, and was designed by architect Vilhelm Puck. After the death of Clausen's widow in 1933, her heirs donated the Villa to the recently formed Risskov Church Committee, fulfilling a wish she had expressed to her relatives before her death. The villa was adapted by architect Aksel Skov and the Church was consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent, 2 December 1934. The present chancel was added in 1968. Sri Lanka har en sjælden kulturarv, der går mere end 2.500 år tilbage i tiden, og ikke mindre end otte kulturelle seværdigheder er repræsenteret på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste. En af dem er Løveklippen med ruinerne af et palads fra det 5. årh. på toppen og en storslået udsigt over det jungleklædte landskab, men også Huletemplet i Dambulla, den gamle hovedstad Anuradhapura og Polonnaruwa med de berømte buddhastatuer er en del af rejsen.
