Rurrenabaque is a small town in the North of Bolivia on the Beni River. It is the capital of Rurrenabaque Municipality. In recent years it has become popular with international tourism as it is an easy gateway for visits to Madidi National Park (within the Bolivian rainforest), as well as the surrounding pampas. Locals commonly refer to the town by its shortened nickname, Rurre.
Rurrenabaque is located in José Ballivián Province in Beni Department, Bolivia. Rurrenabaque Municipality, the fourth (municipal section) of José Ballivián Province, had 19,195 inhabitants, of which 13,446 lived in urban Rurrenabaque itself in 2012. In 2018 Rurrenabaque is said to have around 20,000 inhabitants.

The Madidi Park was declared by National Geographic as one of the areas with most biodiversity in the world and one of the 20 places with greater tourist interest at world level. It has common borders with Peruvian protected areas such as the Bahuaja Sonene National Park and the Tambopata Reserve, so it is part of important biological corridors such as Vilcabamba-Amboró Corridor, which is a binational project (Peru-Bolivia) and the Amboro-Madidi Corridor, in the Bolivian side.

Hoy vamos a conocer la Reserva Nacional de Pampas del Río Yacuma, en Beni – Bolivia; una de las reservas con mayor biodiversidad del planeta, inició con 15, 000 hectáreas, y en los últimos años se amplió a 416,453 hectáreas, convirtiéndose en el área municipal protegida más grande de Bolivia, y quizás del mundo entero.
Espero que el vídeo les guste y sobre todo les sea de gran ayuda; por si se animan a hacer el tour, el precio establecido es de 1200 Bs en todas la agencias; aunque si se juntan en un grupo de amigos, pueden preguntar en distintas agencias de turismo y conseguir un buen precio; yo lo hice con la agencia Fluvial tours, no tiene página, pero los pueden encontrar en su Oficina en Rurrenabaque, en verdad me encantó todo lo que hicimos, la comida estuvo muy buena, y el guía excelente, se los recomiendo un montón.

Rurrenabaque, la pampa et ses animaux
Rurrenaquaque, ce n'est pas encore l'Amazonie, mais sa pampa, sa faune et sa flore en est la lisère. Pour l'explorer, trois option souffraient à moi :
- Allez m'enfoncer dans la jungle pour un trek de 3 jours
- Me la jouer à la Mike Horn et partir 3 à 5 jours avec un guide et un machette comme seule accessoire.
- Prendre une pirogue et aller à la rencontre des animaux de la pampa.
C'est cette dernière option qui me semblait être la meilleure solution pour vous parler des animaux que l'on peut croiser dans cette région de Bolivie.
