The Best Attractions In Rusumo
1. Rusumo FallsRusumo Rusumo Falls is a waterfall located on the Kagera river on the border between Rwanda and Tanzania, part of the most distant headwaters of the river Nile. The falls are approximately 15 m high and 40 m wide and have formed on Precambrian schists and quartzophyllites. Although the falls themselves are not of significant height in comparison to other waterfalls, they have played an important part in the history of Rwanda because they form the only bridging point on the river in that area. THE BEAUTY OF NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
With over 280 bird and 13 primate species and spreading over 1000 square kilometres, Nyungwe National Park is one of the most acclaimed biodiversity rainforests in Africa. Notwithstanding the various attractions in the park, the Canopy Walkway remains one of the best places to experience as it offers a magnificent view of the canopy and it gives a great site for bird-watching.The Canopy walk is suspended at a height of about 60m above the ground and goes over giant trees. While the beauty of Nyungwe National Park remains unknown to many, efforts are being made to attract many tourists.

10 Days in Rwanda [TRAILER] Part 4: Akagera
Rwanda is home to three national parks, and Akagera – which lies on the eastern border with Tanzania – is one of its most diverse in terms of landscape and biodiversity. Predominantly a savannah park with its labyrinth of lakes, acacia woodlands, thick forest and open grassland, this is Rwanda's big game country.
10 Days in Rwanda is Sports+Travel's short film about our adventurous 10-day sojourn in Rwanda in October 2014, sharing stories of people we met, the wildlife we encountered, and the incredible journey–and success–this tiny nation has been through in the 20 years since the genocide of 1994.

Tanzania, Crossing the Kiwira Volcanic Bridge, Episode 92
How big can volcanic lava flows be? We pull off the road to follow the signs to a natural lava bridge that has been carved out by a fast moving river. This a small part of our road trip across Southern Africa. A trip from Tanzania and the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic off the coast of Namibia.

Kiwira Volcanic Bridge Video Details
We zigzagged our way along a fast moving river until we spotted the lava bridge in the distance. Ben volunteered to cross it to give me perspective. It turned out to be a huge chunk of lava. After a few snaps we headed back to the main road.
Near the boarder we stopped for supplies and then an overland expedition truck pulled up behind us. Groups of strangers spend up to 6-weeks travelling between Nairobi and Cape Town crammed in the back of these trucks. Our Land Cruiser for two seems way more comfortable now.
But before we crossed into Malawi we first needed to perform the ritual money exchange. Let the haggling begin. You never win in these deals. The best you can hope for is to get rid of your money and get the next country’s money without suffering a major loss or rip-off.

Rappelling off Sipi Falls
Abseiling off a 300ft waterfall. The footage isn't so great--I just slung the camera over my back.
TRAVEL VLOG • AMAZING WATERFALL at DRAGON MOUNTAINS (Drakensberg) SOUTH AFRICA
***WARNING: CONTAINS NUDITY*** Do you like waterfalls? Do you like climbing mountains? I do.
In this video three girls and I climbed Cathedral Peak in North Drakensberg (Dragon Mountains) in South Africa.
Halfway up we found a waterfall and it was lush. I didn't have a costume, so I went in my birthday suit. It's probably because of all my time in East Germany that I find this acceptable.
The Drakensberg is beautiful! This trail was lovely. Even though I wasn't feeling well all day, I still enjoyed it and didn't reveal my illness.
I'm doing a motorbike trip through Africa visiting: South Africa Namibia Botswana Zimbabwe Zambia Malawi Tanzania Rwanda Uganda Kenya Ethiopia Sudan and Egypt before catching a ferry to Turkey and then into Europe.
