Myanmar Travel: 10 Days of MUST DO surprises in Yangon, Bagan and Inle Lake
We had no idea what to expect. But, after 6 days in Myanmar it was clear we needed to extend as long as we could. In total I spent 10 days exploring Myanmar (formerly Burma) with my brother. We started in Yangon, traveled by bus to Bagan, where we stayed in New Began, and then cut across to Inle Lake before flying on to Thailand from Yangon.
This video highlights some of the visuals from my trip while delving into the experience. You'll also find a series of vlogs here:

Luxury Myanmar Family Tour ! 11 Day ,10 Night
Summary:
Take this four-day trip to Myanmar and enjoy visiting the top tourist places in Myanmar. Known for its many Buddhist temples, vibrant markets, beautiful parks and serene lakes, this Southeast Asian country is fast gaining recognition in the tourism sector. Tour around Kyaly Khat Wai Monastery, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Hintha Gone Pagoda and Shwethalyaung Buddha, to learn more about the Buddhist culture and traditions of this land. Also enjoy a trip to the cigar making industry in Bago. Hunt for souvenirs at the street markets before you bid farewell to Myanmar.
Overview:
Day 1: Bagan – Exploring the Temples of a Lost World
Land in Bagan and immediately feel how different Myanmar is to the rest of the world. Sublime sandstone monuments rise amidst the trees; their extravagance stretches for miles across the dusty plains. Golden stupas reflect in the Irrawaddy River; 900-year-old murals hide beside giant Buddha images, and the landscape is quick to overwhelm your senses. There are over 2,000 temples and pagodas, relics from one of the world's biggest building booms. Myanmar's iconic destination, Bagan presents a mythical world where every angle baffles the eye. Be greeted at the airport and transferred to a luxury hotel in Old Bagan in easy walking distance of the area’s largest temples.
Day 2: Bagan – Cultural Immersion for the Whole Family
Bagan's landscape is lost in a time warp, nothing modern interrupts the mystique, yet it's not merely the architecture that comes from a distant period. Village life remains much as it always has been and offers an easy cultural immersion into a unique lifestyle. Today, take an inspiring journey into Myanmar's traditions as seen through the eyes of its children. A specialist guide takes you along the river to a novice monastery.
Day 3: Bagan – Hot Air Balloon Rides and a Horse and Carriage
The exploration of temples can keep many entertained for days, but this is not always the case for the children. Today you will use unique modes of transport to tour Bagan from different angles. Ride in a hot air balloon at sunrise as the sky glows orange and the sandstone burns with dawn's reflections.
Day 4: Inle Lake – Iconic Stilt Houses Above the Water
At Inle Lake, your hotel is in the water as the luxurious stilt houses rise above the placid surface to offer inspiring vistas from every angle. Fishermen paddle out in their canoes to cast nets beneath the lush backdrop of the Shan hills. Rice paddies stretch into the distance and fish jump like phantoms from the surrounding water. Fly from Bagan to Heho
Day 5: Inle Lake – Spiritual Ceremonies and Adventure Along the Lake
Mystical chants radiate from a temple hidden in the hills as a monk beckons you forward into a room of wafting incense and absorbent smells. Kneel as a family to take part in a special ceremonial blessing for good health. This isn't a ceremony for tourists; many local families come here to receive the same blessing. Later, wind down through the hills and the rice paddies back to the lakeshore and another afternoon on a cruise through the villages.
Day 6: Inle Lake – Exploring the Hill Tribes of Myanmar
Various hill tribes inhabit the hills; their bamboo-dominated houses stand amongst the iconic rice steppes. This morning, visit the Palaung and immerse yourself in their traditions. Youngsters ride on the back of buffalo, ox carts wait patiently, families congregate to share tea, and children do what they do best – enjoy being children. Visiting the hill tribe villages offers a chance to interact with local life.
Day 7: Ngapali – Gazing Out at the Bay of Bengal
Ngapali is undeniably Myanmar's finest beach, a roving stretch of white sand that sweeps into the Bay of Bengal. Thick palm tree plantations lean across the beach and cast daily shadows that eventually elongate into the sapphire waters. Waves are small, the current calm, the ocean behaves as if it’s lounging in a bay. Along Ngapali, there's always space. There are no villages, just a
Days 8 – 10: Ngapali – Tropical Tranquility on Myanmar's Finest Beach
Day 11: Ngapali to Yangon – Departure
Leave the white sand behind as you are transferred to nearby Thandwe Airport and a domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, be greeted by a representative for a smooth transfer to the international terminal and your return flight.
Buying Drugs in India is EASY (Black Market Tour)
Illegal drugs like pot are easy to buy in India on the black market! Watch me visit two illegal weed stores in Delhi and check out their cannabis on sale - Kerala Gold & Mango Weed (two popular types of marijuana in India).
India has a long history with weed. In fact, the sale of Bhang (edible weed balls) and Bhang Lassi (weed milkshake) in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and around religious sites is very popular in India. In Hinduism, some Gods like Lord Shiva (ShivJi) are known for smoking weed. It's especially drunk around the Hindu festival of Holi in India also.
People in Delhi and Mumbai are among the world's highest consumers of marijuana in the world.
If you're a foreign traveller to India and want to buy drugs in India, you need to be extremely careful! My advice is simply to not buy drugs here. It's not worth the risk because you'll be associating yourself with some dodgy people who are selling drugs, and who knows what else they're up to.
Delhi and Mumbai are among the world’s most stoned cities
