Skjåk is a municipality in Oppland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Gudbrandsdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bismo. The municipality of Skjåk was created when it was separated from Lom to become a municipality of its own in 1866. The local newspaper is named Fjuken.

Best Camping Sites | Gryta Camping Review | Norway

Gryta Camping is situated close to Oldevatnet lake in Oldedalen (Stryn). Camp site is surrounded by thousand meters high mountains and lush nature. It is an ideal destination to relax and enjoy, far from hectic city life. The campsite is also a good starting point for both large and small mountain walks. It is nice to stroll along the lake to pick ground strawberries - or you can climb one or more of the many mountain peaks we are surrounded by. You can get tour tips and good tips at reception. Just 10 minutes away lies the Briksdalsbreen (Briksdal Glacier).

I just wanted to show off some of the beautiful countryside ... there's a flash of something not quite so picturesque, some roadworks going on, but what can you do. :-) Mostly it's green and beautiful. :-) Sorry about the radio playing in the background, my family is obsessed with radio.
