Krka National Park is one of the Croatian national parks, named after the river Krka that it encloses. It is located along the middle-lower course of the Krka River in central Dalmatia, in Šibenik-Knin county, downstream Miljevci area, and just a few kilometers northeast of the city of Šibenik. It was formed to protect the Krka River and is intended primarily for scientific, cultural, educational, recreational, and tourism activities. The fortress or Fortica was built during the Croatian–Ottoman wars as a primary defence against the Ottoman Empire. The precipitous fortification is sited on a 262 m ridge above the town Omiš. In the event of attack, its purpose was to provide refuge for local people and be a stronghold where they could retreat to and resist the Turks. As the stone fort's defensive strength is derived from the elevation at which it was built, it is a rudimentary defensive structure. We spend out last day in Croatia in the historic city of Trogir. It's situated on a small island 27 kilometres (17 miles) west of Split.
It was founded by Greek Colonists in the 3rd century BC.
They named the city Tragos which in Greek means male goat, so probably this place was overrun by goats back then:)

Trogir is famous for it’s maze like streets and harbour.. Being so close to Split we found that prices here were a bit higher than in Zadar, maybe 10-20% higher.

Trogir was ruled by Venice for almost 400 years and has one of the highest concentrations of Romanesque and renaissance architecture in central europe, most of which was build during that time.
