This is the best destination for Chile's tourism and free travel, and it's easy to get to know Chile and broaden your horizons.

Between these two southern cities, a train route still remains active, known as Ramal Talca-Constitución. This traditional form of transportation passes through many towns that are otherwise inaccessible.

Pucón, Chile - Things to do - Travel Guide

Pucón is extremely popular both with Chileans and foreigners for the beautiful views of Volcano Villarrica , which is the highest and most-active climbable volcano in South America. The city centre is a backpacker's paradise, filled with travel agencies offering a wide range of day trips. Apparently, also the night-life is quite active. If you don't like it crowded, avoid January and February as they are the busiest months. We visited in February.

We stayed just outside of the town in Caburgua on a lovely tranquil estate, Hotel Salto del Carileufu . From here we could explore the area avoiding the busy town centre unless eating out. Don't get me wrong it was a lovely place but in this guide we stick to things you can do in the area, around Pucón, rather than the town.

We visited numerous Waterfalls like Ojos Del Caburgua, and Salto El Léon. Spent hours just driving the local area with so many lakes and views to stop at and take pictures.

A highlight shown in the video was Termas Geometricas. It's a 2 hour scenic drive from Pucon and the last 30 minutes is on a bumpy gravel road, but don't let that put you off. Most 2 wheel drive cars are fine if you take it slow! It is really is an amazing place, Highly recommend you make the effort.

Thank you Chile. For 2 months I travelled Chile and I must say, a country that was on the bottom of my South America travel list, offered pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise and stole a piece of my travelling heart. I entered Chile up in the north desert region of country, in Arica.

From there I moved onto Iquique, Antofagasta and other cities in the northern portion of Chile before visiting the gorgeous Vina del Mar and famous Valparaiso.

After a great stop in the capital of Santiago, I proceeded to the south of Chile and fell in love with Pucon and had a heavy heart when I had to say goodbye to my time in Chile but put this video together to thank Chile. Voy a regresar Chile, gracias por todo!

#58 Combarbalita - Living Atlas Chile

The combarbalita stone is a mix of desert colors and unique to the Combarala zone and the source of inspiration for these artisans. Mining the earth themselves, these creative artists make beautiful and intricate pieces ranging from clocks to figurines out of the stone that lies beneath their feet. Follow Juan Frívola into the mines and the artisan shop to see how they create such beauty by hand every step of the way.

Days 2/3 - Reñaca and Viña Del Mar | Chile Travel Vlog

Here are days 2 and 3 in Chile where it was mainly about relaxation by the pool and seeing the local town. Had a small visit to Viña del mar and also had a walk along the beach in Reñaca. Also got to see real Chile with a visit to a summer amusement park called Felicilandia. Seeing my brother to so badly on one of the games has to be a highlight so far. Enjoy
