Explore Tangalooma on Moreton Island

Just a 75-minute ferry ride from Brisbane is Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island.

Quadbike along the sandy white beach, dive deep and explore the Tangalooma Wrecks (fifteen vessels that were deliberately sunk to form a breakwall for small boats and an amazing wreck dive and snorkel site) and feed wild dolphins at dusk along the beach shore.

Great Weekend Getaway at the Tangalooma Island Resort | Moreton Island, Australia

Moreton Island is just off the coast of southeastern Queensland, Australia. The protected sand island is known for its beaches and steep dunes, like Mount Tempest. On the west coast, a dive site features coral and tropical fish around a group of sunken boats called the Tangalooma Wrecks. A dolphin feeding spot is nearby (reference: Wikipedia).

Vacation on Moreton Island

During the holidays I had an amazing vacation with my family camping at the beautiful Moreton Island. I feel so lucky to have this amazing destination just a boat ride from my hometown. So here are the many things to see and do on Moreton Island
*INTERESTING FACT: In 2001 the movie Scooby-Doo was filmed around Tangalooma on Moreton Island... So Moreton Island is also Spooky Island!
