Thracian sanctuary in Tatul was created approximately 4000 years ago. Another name of the sanctuary is the sanctuary of Orpheus and the sanctuary of the Sun.

Thrakisches Heiligtum in Tatul wurde vor etwa 4000 Jahren geschaffen. Ein anderer Name des Heiligtums ist das Heiligtum von Orpheus und das Heiligtum der Sonne.
Hier organisierten die alten Thraker verschiedene religiöse Riten. Während der Ausgrabungen fanden die Archäologen mehrere Orpheusfiguren.
Das Heiligtum von Orpheus ist ein gutes Beispiel und der Beweis dafür, dass die alten Thraker in der Astronomie sehr gut verstanden und sehr gute Kalender gemacht haben.
200 Meter vom Heiligtum entfernt auf den steilen Felsen befindet sich eine Sonnenscheibe. Die Sonnenstrahlen, die durch einen künstlich erzeugten Schlitz verlaufen, fallen auf die Sonnenscheibe.
Dies ist eines der typischen Beispiele für den Solarkalender der Thraker.
Der Ort ist sehr interessant und hat eine interessante Geschichte. Auf jeden Fall würdig.

The rock monastery in Basarbovo Bulgaria

Basarbovo Monastery (Басарбовски манастир) or the Monastery of Saint Dimitar Basarbovski is a Bulgarian orthodox cave monastery. The monastery is located in the valley of Rusenski Lom River 10 km from the city of Ruse, south of the Danube.
The rock monastery in Basarbovo is one of the unique sights in the region since it is the only active rock monastery in Bulgaria.
It dates back to the period the Second Bulgarian Kingdom (12-14 century), but the earliest data come from the Ottoman tax records in 16th century. The most famous resident is Saint Dimitar Basarbovski. Even Paisius of Hilendar mentions him in his work “Istoriya slavyanobalgarska” (“Slavonic-Bulgarian History”). During the Russo-Turkish War (1768-1774), the saint’s relics were moved to Bucharest and placed in the church “St. St. Konstantin and Elena” where they are kept today. In 1937 a monk named Hrisant started living in the monastery and restored it. A significant place not only for the region, but for the Bulgarian Church and all Christians.

Манастирът води началото си от периода на Второто българско царство (XII-XIV в.), но най-ранните данни датират от османските данъчни регистри от XVI век. Най-известният обитател и вечен игумен е Свети Димитър Басарбовски. Още Паисий Хилендарски го споменава в своята „История славянобългарска“. По времето на Руско-турската война (1768-1774) мощите на светеца са пренесени от ген. Иван П. Салтиков в Букурещ и поставени в митрополитската, а днес патриаршеска църква „Свети Свети Константин и Елена“ на 13 юли 1774 г., където те се намират и до днес. През 1937 година в манастира се настанява монах Хрисант и започва да го обновява.
