The Wonderful Upside Down House of Trassenheide
It was last year that I read about The Wonderful Upside Down House in Trassenheide / Usedom. Or as the creators called it Die Welt Steht Kopf. Today I managed a journey there and felt like Alice in a very crazy wonderland . Herr Theo Paul the designer and builder put me though my paces as I got the place ship shape , after a work out ...Later saw to my hair and make up ready for an invited musical guest who insisted on playing his saxaphone at all times , Good music though . go to the website of this terrific place at weltstehtkopf.de and whats the betting you to will be off to be Alice in a truly amazing wonderhouse where all things are possible --- ALMOST ........Well it's the 1st time I've enjoyed housework .

Island Usedom under Summer Clouds
Usedom represents the second largest island of Germany and is located in the southwestern Baltic Sea. The Border between Germany and Poland runs along the island, dividing it into a bigger German part (373 km²) and a much smaller polish part (72 km²).
The Peenestrom (a gut) and the Stettin Lagoon separate Usedom from the mainland.
The island is famous for its kilometer long sandy beaches. Additionally the area has the greatest number of sunny days within whole Germany. Due to these georgaphic and climatic conditions, Usedom looks back to a longer history of bath tourism.
In Prussian times, the island developed into a resort. This was supported by the fact that in 1825 the villages Swinemünde and Heringsdorf were modified into bathing-beach-areas.
But the major times of the great seaside resorts finally began in 1871 after the foundation of the Deutsches Reich (German Reich, nation state).
During the Nazi-Regime the island became famous for its Army Research Center in Peenemünde. There the V-2 was produced.
This was the reason for a remarkable air attack by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces against Swinemünde in 12 March 1945. Many people (civilians) died.
Today Usedom is a bathing resort and popular Germany wide. But the island offers much more than only beautiful beaches and sunny days. There are 12 nature reserve areas existing, which already in times of the GDR became protected zones (NSG and LSG).
One of them is located at the top of the Peenemünder Peninsula (Peenemünder Haken, Struck and Ruden). I unfortunately could not reach this Nature Reserve, but most of the nature footage was captured along the Peenemünder Peninsula between Zinnowitz, Trassenheide and Karlshagen.
The historic bridge of Ahlbeck is the oldest pier of Germany and was constructed in 1882 and upgraded 1898, 1905 and in the 1930th. It's well visible to in my footage too.
Taiwan's Bizarre Upside-Down House
A fully-furnished, three-storey house with all the modern comforts has built in Taiwan - completely upside down. Everything from the kitchen sink down to a double bed, dining table, fully fitted bathroom and even a fireplace have been fixed to the ceilings at the $600,000 (£425,000) abode. The pastel-painted property in Huashan Creative Park, Taipei, was created by a group of Taiwanese architects and opened in front of hundreds of visitors on Saturday. Tourists have been taking images at the house, which has over 300 square meters (3,230 square feet) of floor space, pretending to place shoes on the ceiling and clear up plates on the dinner table above their head. The dollhouse-inspired attraction, which was built as part of an exhibition in Taiwan, also has a car fixed to the ceiling. The property, which took around two months to construct, is set to remain in the creative park for five months before closing on July 22.
