TRIP REPORT - Air France Economy Class flight to Paris on an Airbus A319
AIRLINE TRIP REPORT ►Watch more of our Airline Trip Reports here:
Part 1/3 An Air France Flight Review (Trip Report) of our flight onboard an Air France Airbus A319 from Copenhagen Airport to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. This video covers all stages of the flight from the arrival at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) where the viewer sees the Check-in area for our Air France flight and then is given a tour of Copenhagen Airport´s departure area as we make our way through the airport to our departure gate A20.
Our Air France Economy Class flight to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris the begins boarding, and we follow the aircraft pushback process and then the taxiing out to our take-off runway and include the takeoff. Once in the air we show the viewer the Air France cabin, have a look at the Air France seats and legroom in Economy Class onboard an Air France A319, we look at the seat belts, The Air France inflight magazine, the Air France Inflight Duty Free Shopping magazine and the Air France onboard Safety Card for their Airbus A318 and Airbus A319.
To our surprise on this short-haul Air France Economy Class flight to Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, we were all offered a complimentary Inflight Meal, actually an Inflight Snack and a complimentary Inflight Drink.
We than begin our descent towards Paris through some very turbulent weather conditions and finally our Air France flight lands at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. The viewer then follows our long but very interesting taxi through this huge French Airport, we are even like enough to see the Air France Concorde. We hope that you will enjoy this Air France Economy Class Flight Review of our flight onboard a Airbus A319 between Copenhagen Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Air France is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance (Airline Alliance).
OUR IMPRESSIONS OF THIS AIR FRANCE FLIGHT:
- The Air France cabin crew was friendly and professional from the start to end of the flight.
- The complimentary inflight snack and drink was a positive surprise for a European short haul flight. This small gesture will ensure that we would pick Air France over one that does not offer the same service if the ticket prices were similar.
- The Air France Economy Class legroom (short haul flights on Airbus A319) is minimal for those of us over 6 feet tall, however it is bearable on short haul flights such as this 2 hour flight.
VERDICT:
Despite the long delay to disembark the plane (owing to the weather not Air France) we both agreed that this was an enjoyable short haul European flight. This was the first of three connection flights (two flights were with Air France) and all our baggage was available when we reached our destination. We would gladly fly with Air France again, and do hope that it will continue offering all passengers a complimentary beverage and snack in the future, an excellent and very appreciated customer service.

MASSIVE Engine! B777-300ER Takeoff with GREAT Paris CDG Airport Views, Air France! [AirClips]

The Boeing 777 is a family of long-range wide-body twin-engine jet airliners developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It is the world's largest twinjet and has a typical seating capacity of 314 to 396 passengers, with a range of 5,240 to 8,555 nautical miles (9,704 to 15,844 km). Commonly referred to as the Triple Seven, its distinguishing features include the largest-diameter turbofan engines of any aircraft, long raked wings, six wheels on each main landing gear, fully circular fuselage cross-section, and a blade-shaped tail cone. Developed in consultation with eight major airlines, the 777 was designed to replace older wide-body airliners and bridge the capacity difference between Boeing's 767 and 747. As Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, it has computer-mediated controls. It was also the first commercial aircraft to be designed entirely with computer-aided design.
The 777 is produced in two fuselage lengths as of 2017. The original 777-200 variant entered commercial service in 1995, followed by the extended-range 777-200ER in 1997. The stretched 777-300, which is 33.25 ft (10.1 m) longer, followed in 1998. The initial 777-200, extended-range -200ER, and -300 versions are equipped with General Electric GE90, Pratt & Whitney PW4000, or Rolls-Royce Trent 800 engines. They have since been collectively referred to as 777 Classics. The extended-range 777-300ER and ultra long-range 777-200LR variants entered service in 2004 and 2006 respectively, while the 777F, a freighter version, debuted in February 2009; these second generation variants all feature high-output GE90 engines and extended raked wingtips. The 777-200LR is one of the world's longest-range airliners, able to fly more than halfway around the globe and holds the record for the longest distance flown non-stop by a commercial aircraft. In November 2013, Boeing announced the development of the third-generation of the 777, the 777X, consisting of the 777-8 and 777-9 mini-jumbo jet variants. The 777X features composite folding wings and GE9X engines plus further technologies developed for the Boeing 787, and scheduled to enter service by 2020.
The 777 first entered commercial service with United Airlines on June 7, 1995. The 777 has received more orders than any other wide-body airliner; as of December 2017, more than 60 customers had placed orders for 1,962 aircraft of all variants, with 1,534 delivered. The most common and successful variant is the 777-300ER with 767 delivered and 839 orders; Emirates operates the largest 777 fleet, with 161 passenger and freighter aircraft as of July 2017.
The 777-300ER (ER for Extended Range) is the B-market version of the -300. Its higher MTOW and increased fuel capacity permits a maximum range of 7,370 nautical miles (13,650 km) with 396 passengers in a two-class seating arrangement. The 777-300ER features raked and extended wingtips, a strengthened fuselage and wings and a modified main landing gear. Its wings have an aspect ratio of 9.0. It is powered by the GE90-115B turbofan, the world's most powerful jet engine with a maximum thrust of 115,300 lbf (513 kN). Following flight testing, aerodynamic refinements have reduced fuel burn by an additional 1.4%.
Since its launch, the -300ER has been a primary driver of the twinjet's sales past the rival A330/340 series. Its direct competitors have included the Airbus A340-600 and the A350-1000. Using two engines produces a typical operating cost advantage of around 8–9% for the -300ER over the A340-600. Several airlines have acquired the -300ER as a 747-400 replacement amid rising fuel prices given its 20% fuel burn advantage. The -300ER has a $44 per seat hour, compared to an Airbus A380's roughly $50 per seat hour (hourly cost is about $26,000), and $90 per seat hour for a Boeing 747-400 as of November 2015.
The first -300ER was delivered to Air France on April 29, 2004. The -300ER is the best-selling 777 variant, having surpassed the -200ER in orders in 2010 and deliveries in 2013. As of December 2017, -300ER deliveries to 45 different customers totalled 767, with 72 unfilled orders. As of July 2017, 739 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft were in service.

Air France was formed on 7 October 1933 from a merger of Air Orient, Air Union, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne (CIDNA), and Société Générale de Transport Aérien (SGTA).
During the Cold War, from 1950 until 1990, Air France was one of the three main Allied scheduled airlines operating in Germany at West Berlin's Tempelhof and Tegel airports.
In 1990, Air France acquired the operations of French domestic carrier Air Inter and international rival UTA – Union de Transports Aériens.
Air France served as France's primary national flag carrier for seven decades prior to its 2003 merger with KLM.
Between April 2001 and March 2002, the airline carried 43.3 million passengers and had a total revenue of €12.53bn. In November 2004, Air France ranked as the largest European airline with 25.5% total market share, and was the largest airline in the world in terms of operating revenue.
Air France operates a mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing widebody jets on long-haul routes, and uses Airbus A320 family aircraft on short-haul routes. Air France introduced the A380 on 20 November 2009 with service to New York's JFK Airport from Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport. The carrier's regional airline subsidiary, HOP!, operates the majority of its regional domestic and European scheduled services with a fleet of regional jet aircraft.
The Airbus A321 is a stretched first derivative of the standard A320. The variant was launched in 1988,] when the A320 began operations. Compared with the A320, the A321's major change is the stretched fuselage, which is lengthened by 6.94 metres (22 ft 9 in); the A321 is the largest of the A320 family. This is achieved by adding a 4.27 m (14 ft 0 in) front plug immediately forward of wing, and a 2.67 m (8 ft 9 in) rear plug. To maintain performance, double-slotted flaps were included, in addition to increasing the wing area by 4 m2 (43 sq ft), to 128 m2 (1,380 sq ft). Other minor modifications were made to accommodate the A321-100's 9,600 kg (21,200 lb) increase in maximum takeoff weight to 83,000 kg (183,000 lb). The maiden flight of the first of two prototypes came on 11 March 1993. The A321-100 entered service in 1994.
The basic A321-100 features a reduction in range compared to the A320 as extra fuel tankage was not added to the initial design to compensate for the extra weight. To overcome this Airbus launched the heavier and longer range A321-200 development in 1995 which has a full-passenger transcontinental US range. This is achieved through higher thrust engines (V2533-A5 or CFM56-5B3), minor structural strengthening, and an increase in fuel capacity with the installation of one or two optional 2,990 L (790 US gal) tanks in the rear underfloor hold. The additional fuel tankage increases the total fuel capacity of this model to 30,030 L (7,930 US gal). These modifications also increased the maximum takeoff weight of the A321-200 to 93,000 kg (205,000 lb). This variant first flew in December 1996. Its direct competitors include the Boeing 757-200 and the 737-900/900ER.
Airbus announced the development of a longer range version named A321neoLR that will be available in 2019. It is positioned to replace the Boeing 757-200 in transatlantic and similar markets where the range and payload of the 737-900 is insufficient to replace the 757-200. The new A321LR will have 206 seats; Business Class will offer 16 seats with 36 pitch and Economy will offer 190 seats at a 30-inch pitch. Airbus claims the maximum range at full payload of 4,000 nautical miles will exceed the range of Boeing's winglet-equipped 757-200W, but will burn less fuel per passenger. The A321LR will be equipped with three auxiliary fuel tanks including one at centerline. Boeing has not decided how it will replace the 757, but is not working on a 757 MAX, or a longer range 737-9 MAX.

The church Saint - Maximin is a catholic church located near the Lutheran Temple in the district of the Old Town in Metz in Moselle . It is placed under the name of Bishop Maximin of Trier , who died in 347. The Romanesque church is located in the district Outre - Seille , 68 rue Mazelle.
The construction of this church Romanesque dated xii th century xv th century. The choir, the transept and square tower of the xii th century are an important testimony of the Romanesque period. The nave dates from the xv th century. In the southern transept, the chapel of Louve and Gournay dates from 1365, a gift of Poinsignon Dieu Amy. The young Jacques-Benigne Bossuet pronounced on October 24, 1658, one of the first funeral orations, that of Henry de Gournay. A baroque portal replaces in 1753 the first ogival door
The church houses the only known stained glass windows designed by Jean Cocteau; the stained glass windows were put in place at the end of the 1960s according to cartons from 1962. The stained glass work by Jean Cocteau in Metz is undoubtedly his last great masterpiece substantially completed posthumously since died October 11, 1963. It Edouard Dermit , his adopted son who will ensure the full implementation of the project designed by Jean Cocteau.
The most convincing message signified by central stained glass seems to be that of immortality. Obviously, if Cocteau has made the two characters appear so clearly in this axial stained glass (the praying and his double), we can not ignore and ignore the content of their invocation to know the faith in immortality. Moreover, it is this same immortality that any artist seeks through his work whose goal would be to create a work that succeeds him. Jean Cocteau himself, making this last creation the most important before his death, had to think about it all the time. He did not stop his life during his use of mythology and in particular the character of Orphée to bring back to life the dear ones and make them even immortal. Regarding the Orphée filmfrom 1950, it is said in particular in the blog The Eye on the Screen : Jean Cocteau transposes the myth of Orpheus to the present time ... The man is saved, Death dies, it is the myth of immortality. ' .
