Pike fishing in the evening - In a deep lake in Denmark
-After my pike fishing trip Sunday evening where I had been in contact with one of the slightly better pike, but failed to set the hooks properly, I was determined to catch a good pike in my local lake. So Monday evening after work, I chose once again to take a trip on the lake in search of a big pike. My plan was to row out to the same place where I had contact with pikes Sunday evening. -However I was stopped on the way to my spot, when one of my rods suddenly bends violently. Oh, it must snagged on the bottom, I was thinking to myself, but then in the same split second my braided line was ripped off the wheel.
-After 9-10 minutes great fight, I could land a nice pike.
Length = 92 cm and weight = 5 kg.

Pellenc Selion is the lightest and most manageable chainsaw I have had in the hand. The saw weighs only 2 kg, is very balanced, slim, and compact, making it perfect in situations that allows one-hand operations. It's very quiet and runs without significant vibrations, resulting in a very controlled and precise cut. It's definitely intended for tree climbing with light/medium pruning and precision work. The battery (Pellenc Lipo Poly 5) weighs 3.4 kg and is worn, almost unnoticed, in a very comfortable harness on the back. The battery was at 98% when I started ...after these two trees of 10-12 m / Ø40 cm, the battery had fallen to 68%
For tree removals, the saw seems to have a lack of power and stops if you are forcing it a bit. For climbing/tree removals with spikes, the extra weight from the battery is transferred to your legs and spikes, which probably isn't a problem in pruning, where all the weight is in the rope and anchor.
It's a fine pruner ... if you want to reduce the physical strain, noise, vibrations and fuel consumption ...you use more time, but also gets a nicer cut.

Pellenc Selion er den letteste og mest håndterbare kædesav jeg har haft i hånden. Selve saven vejer kun 2 kg, er meget afbalanceret, slank og kompakt, hvilket gør den perfekt i situationer der tillader betjening med en hånd. Den er meget støjsvag og kører uden væsentlige vibrationer, hvilket giver et meget kontrolleret og præcist snit. Den er afgjort bestemt til træklatring med let/medium beskæring og præcisionsarbejde. Til træfældning virker saven til at mangle effekt og stopper hvis man forcerer saven en smule. Til træklatring/træfældning med sporer bliver den ekstra vægt fra batteriet overført til dine ben og sporer, hvilket sandsynligvis ikke er et problem i beskæring, hvor al vægt er i reb og ankerpunkt.
Det er en fin sav til beskæring ...hvis du vil reducere den fysiske belastning, støj, vibrationer og brændstofforbrug....du bruger mere tid, men får så også et pænere snit.
