Ustylúh is a town in Volodymyr-Volynskyi Raion, Volyn Oblast, Ukraine. It is situated 8 miles west of Volodymyr-Volynskyi. Population: 2,200 Igor Stravinsky had an estate in Ustyluh and visited it frequently between 1890 and 1914. His mansion is now a museum. Ustylúh was called Uscilug or Ustilug prior to World War II and had a population of at least 3,200 Jews. Ustilug was bombarded and shelled heavily on the morning of June 22, 1941, the day of the outbreak of war between the Soviet Union and Germany.     Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky was a Russian-born composer, pianist, and conductor. He is widely considered one of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century.
