La Gomera in the Canary Islands is still relatively unspoiled by tourism. Most visitors arrive by ferry from Tenerife or La Palma. The mountainous middle of the island has a cloudy and foggy climate with forest trees hung with moss. We were based in the Valle Gran Rey in the sunny south of the island. From there we visited the main tourist attractions including San Sebastian, Mirador del Palmarejo, Chipude, Garajonay National Park, La Laguna Grande, Mirador de Roque de Ojila, La Montaneta and Vallehermosa.

Beautiful Islands Of Tenerife & La Gomera
At Tenerife & La Gomera- Canary Islands
=================================
Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, off West Africa. It's dominated by Mt. Teide, a dormant volcano that is Spain's tallest peak. Tenerife may be best known for its Carnaval de Santa Cruz, a huge pre-Lent festival with parades, music, dancing and colorful costumes. The island has many beaches (with sands from yellow to black) and resort areas, including Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas.
Volcan El Teide
============
Mount Teide is a volcano on Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain. Its 3,718-metre summit is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic.
(Mount Teide is the third highest volcanic structure and most voluminous in the world after Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea in Hawaii. It is the highest peak on the Canary Islands and in the whole of Spain.)
The formation began 170,000 years ago following the giant collapse of the former volcanic edifice, which was even bigger than the one that stands today. That is how Las Cañadas caldera was formed. Today we can only see part of the escarpment because as the inside of Teide grew, it gradually filled the caldera with its materials.
La Gomera
========
The second-smallest of the main islands in Spain’s Canary Island chain, is marked by craggy volcanic mountains crisscrossed with hiking trails. In higher altitudes, dense forests of ferns and moss-covered trees grow in the mists of Garajonay National Park. Toward the coast, the Valle Gran Rey canyon leads past the whitewashed cliffside village of La Calera and ends at black-sand Atlantic beaches.
Roque de Agando
==============
Roque de Agando is a prominent rock formation on the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands. It is one of La Gomera's most striking features and is frequently used as a symbol for the island.

Popularly known as the Barrio Antiguo (spanish old neighborhood) comprise what is preserved from the historical quarter of the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Currently located next to the Government Palace and the Macroplaza, it originally covered a larger space from the Santa Catarina River to 5 de Mayo Street, south to north, and from Mina Street to Roble Street (nowadays Avenida Benito Juárez), east to west. Most of the buildings now preserved are from the Spanish Colonial period and from the last years of the 19th century.(Learn more about Barrio Antiguo in Monterrey, Mexico:

La Gomera, Canary Islands | Thomas Cook
The island of Tenerife has so much to explore. But if you’ve seen as much as you can in and around your resort, then it’s worth venturing a little further afield and visiting somewhere slightly off the beaten track.
La Gomera is the ideal place to do just that and it is only a short boat ride away. It is the smallest of the seven main Canary Islands and is practically untouched compared to its neighbours. Take the ferry across from Los Cristianos and embark on a guided trek through the lush rainforest of the Garajonay National Park that covers most of the island.
As well as the tropical rainforest, the sun-drenched island of La Gomera is also home to dramatic and stunning beaches such as the one at Puerto de Santiago. It is definitely well worth the boat ride over to visit whilst on holiday in Tenerife.
