My Uncle and Aunt took me on a boat ride around Lake Vermilion, such a beautiful lake. We found our little spot and I managed to get some aerial.
I don't make it a habit to fly where there is a lot of plane action. Most places I go to only show for unmanned / unpaved ports. I have not gotten the opportunity to get comfortable with contacting the tower since the new FAA dashboard makes you do waivers now. I just bring it back down usually when one comes around. I don't like to disturb their air space. I think I made my aunt a bit nervous when the seaplane flew so low as my drone. Just as long as you give them right of way.
So I feel like I got a lot of learning to do with my license still. I'm working on a waiver right now. Which I will talk about regardless if it gets approved or not.

Fall Hikes In Ontario | Mount Nemo
A day spent enjoying a fall hike in Ontario! This was shot at Mount Nemo, Ontario. A beautiful hike during the fall, as there are lots of different trees. We went early fall, just as the leaves started to change, so I imagine it gets much more spectacular as the season goes on. This was just a fun little video I made...trying to get as much practice with video creation as possible :|
We brought the drone with us after it experienced quite an accident in New Zealand. Bryon (my boyfriend) crashed it into a tree by Blue Lake, Rotorua and since the water levels were high in the spring it fell into the water fully submerged. Luckily, the waters of Blue Lake are some of the clearest in the world, which I think helped the situation. The battery also disengaged in the crash. We immediately fished it out of the water and put a space heater on it to dry it out and it works totally fine now! We have not used the same battery in the crash.
