Wando County is a county in South Jeolla Province, South Korea. It takes its name from the island of Wando, which is the largest island within the county and serves as the county seat. Wando island is perhaps most famous for Cheonghaejin, the former headquarters of Jang Bogo, a 9th-century Korean historical figure whose private fleet and army dominated the sea routes in the Yellow Sea. Wando's most famous native in modern times is champion golfer K.J. Choi.

Wando Tower is a 76m tall observation tower built in 'Dadohae Ilchul Gongwon' near the top of Dongmangsan Mountain located at 330 Jangbogodae-ro, Wando-eup, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do. The tower is 2F plus the observation floor. Completed in September 2008, Wando Tower is a tourist spot from which visitors can get a full view of the fantastic sunrise and sunset on the archipelago and appreciate the night view of Wando including Wando Port and Sinji Daegyo all the year round. Ulleung do island, Korea - Round-the-island ferry - Best Secret Island

.Ulleung do island is one of the most beautiful places in North East Asia. It is also selected as World's Best Secret Islands by The Lonely Planet.

I hope this video proves the pure beauty of this island formed from ancient volcanic activity.
