Busan Korea Subway Ride & Ticket Buying (4K)
Take a look what a Korea subway train ride was like. We were in Busan, Korea for one day as part of our 14 night Asia cruise in 2018. We took a free shuttle that went from the cruise port to Busan Station, where we took the Busan Subway Line 1 to Jagalchi station to visit the famous market there, and then later visit the Busan Tower & Yongdusan Park.
Here you see how we bought Busan metro All Day Pass subway tickets via a machine (it takes only 1000 won bills) which cost 5000 won per person (about $4.31 USD). There is a money change machine nearby to break down larger bills (we had 10,000 won bills which it did not take as you can see). It was nice to see that the machine supported English. It was also very interesting to see so many shops at the subway area as well.
The locals were friendly and helpful- so if you do run into any problem they would be happy to help you out! =======================

CITY HOPPING AS WE HUNT FOR MORE VENDING MACHINE DOORS.
Something great about being in a smaller country is that city hopping is not just an idea anymore. So it was hot, the buses and subways have air con... what better way to spend the day than going from one city to another? Also, having been in Korea for awhile now, some things get repetitive and the novelty is sort of lost. A lot of the cities look the same and just being there for a couple hours is enough to get the vibe and the pace of the place. Okay yeah, I might be making excuses for my oblivious travel mind but you try walking around in 40C weather. It's unbearable!
Vending machine doors... ahh~ So I've coincidently ran into three doors prior to this mission. One in Seomyeon, Busan. Another in Mangwon, Seoul. And another somewhere in Daegu. I love the concept of these doors and each one seem very unique to their brand. I did some research and found many more doors in Korea. So for my city hopping adventure, I decided to try and hit as many doors as possible(well 3 per se). Although I really wanted to actually go in and try the food/drinks, I couldn't because 1, I was on a time crunch and 2, ain't nobody got time to eat all that food in one day! I would have wanted to take more pictures and video using the door... however I was alone so no one could hold the camera for me. Ugh! That's one thing I don't like about travelling and vlogging alone. Oh well, I'll go back with my friends and make them takes pictures next time!
There are many more doors out there and maybe I'll make a compilation of all the doors..? or just be up to date on my instagram highlight lol.

Seoul (apparently the Beer one where I originally thought was in Bucheon is actually in Yangcheon which is a district in Seoul LOL)
But I enjoy the bus ride from Daejeon to Suwon and from Suwon to Seoul. The view was nice. The air con was nice....
Anyways. That pretty much concludes that week of backpacking in Korea. I did some stuff in Seoul and on another weekend I went to Yangsan/Gyeongju/Ulsan which you will see in the next episode.
