Worst Places for Americans to Visit Around The World
Get more Tips here!
Whether they pose a threat to travelers’ safety, or may cause detrimental harm to one’s physical health, here is our list of the 10 worst places for Americans to visit around the world.
1. Saudi Arabia
The U.S. Department of State advises Americans to exercise extreme caution when visiting Saudi Arabia, due to, in part, the increased amount of armed conflict. One place in particular, Edge of the World in Riyadh, was once an insanely popular tourist destination. But, maybe, it's better to stay away.
2. El Salvador
Amazing views, delicious cuisine and impressive ruins will have to wait due to the increase in violence. One day, Americans may finally get the green light to make the trek to El Salvador again.
3. Somalia
The U.S. Department of State even suggests those who ignore their warning to draft their last will and testament before heading out to this East African country. The country’s prime minister has dreams of a brighter future, and our fingers are crossed, too, cause it's an amazing place.
4. Honduras
Americans might want to think twice about traveling to Honduras, especially since the lack of police and increased incidents of crime. Hopefully it will change soon, cause there's so much to see about Maya history.
5. Democratic Republic of the Congo
It's not a good place because of the problems with the Ebola and armed conflict. But it's a very different place full of beautiful mountains, volcanoes and the Lake Kivu.
6. Bangkok, Thailand
This county is quite the opposite, it's not a good place because of us, the tourists. It's so crowded that we're starting to affect negatively the country. So, maybe, it's better it give it a time.
7. Afghanistan
Recent wars, Communist coups, and attacks make it a really bad place to visit. Hopefully, one day we'll be able to see the stunning Hindu Kush mountains and breathtaking lakes.
8. North Korea
It isn’t entirely impossible to visit North Korea, and the U.S. Department of State advises its citizens that traveling to the East Asian country could result in arrest and long-term detention by the hands of North Korea’s government officials.
9. Mount Everest
Mountain trekkers have to come up with the estimated $40,000 to be guided up the mountain by a local Nepali operator, and there are physical dangers for climbing to the peak, as well, including frostbite and hypothermia from the freezing temperatures. So... a bit risky.
10. Beijing, China
This is the worst place to visit because of the serious air pollution. They have made smog a huge problem in the city, resulting in the government to implement emergency measures to help alleviate the problem. You should wait until they fix it.
Which one do you think is the worst place to visit?

Chichicastenango Market:
Market days on Thursdays and Sundays
From Panajachel 1,5 hours,From Antigua 2,5 hours to Chichi Market
Chichicastenango, also known as Santo Tomás Chichicastenango, is a town in the El Quiché department of Guatemala, known for its traditional K'iche' Maya culture. The Spanish conquistadors gave the town its name from the Nahuatl name used by their soldiers from Tlaxcala: Tzitzicaztenanco, or City of Nettles. Its original name was Chaviar.Chichicastenango serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name.
Chichicastenango is a large indigenous town, lying on the crests of mountaintops at an altitude of 1,965 m (6,447 ft). It is located about 140 km (87 mi) northwest of Guatemala City.
Chichicastenango is well known for its famous market days on Thursdays and Sundays where vendors sell handicrafts, food, flowers, pottery, wooden boxes, condiments, medicinal plants, candles, pom and copal (traditional incense), cal (lime stones for preparing tortillas), grindstones, pigs and chickens, machetes, and other tools. In the central part of the market plaza are small eateries (comedores).
Among the items sold are textiles, particularly the women's blouses. The manufacture of masks, used by dancers in traditional dances, such as the Dance of the Conquest, have also made this city well known for woodcarving.
Church of Santo Tomás:
Next to the market is the 400-year old church of Santo Tomás. It is built atop a Pre-Columbian temple platform, and the steps originally leading to a temple of the pre-Hispanic Maya civilization remain venerated. K'iche' Maya priests still use the church for their rituals, burning incense and candles. In special cases, they burn a chicken for the gods. Each of the 18 stairs that lead up to the church stands for one month of the Maya calendar year. Another key element of Chichicastenango is the Cofradia of Pascual Abaj, which is an ancient carved stone venerated nearby and the Maya priests perform several rituals there. Writing on the stone records the doings of a king named Tohil (Fate). The Chichicastenango Regional Museum lies in its grounds.Wikipedia
The Ultimate DUBAI FOOD TOUR - Street Food and Emirati Cuisine in Dubai, UAE!
Check out this amazing food in Dubai, UAE!

When I was in Dubai, I had the privilege of hanging out and eating with my friend Peyman ( He’s from Dubai, he loves to eat, and he knows some of the best food spots in Dubai. So in this Dubai food tour, we went around and ate Emirati food, rice and lamb, street food, karak tea, and finally ended with home cooked Emirati food at Peyman’s home.
One thing I want to quickly mention, and Peyman and I discussed this in the video as well, is that Emirati food at restaurants is still not very common in Dubai. This is because there are so many international restaurants in Dubai, and local Emiratis typically just eat their food at home. But things are changing and there is starting to be a higher demand for Emirati food in Dubai.
Al Fanar Restaurant - One of the only full Emirati food restaurants in Dubai. We ordered Luqaimat, Tharid, Madrooba, Balaleet. All the food was fantastic, and it’s a nice environment.
Total price - 280 AED ($76.21)
Karak - 0.50 AED ($0.14) per cup - This is originally adapted from India, but it’s a full part of the culture in UAE, and you can get cups of karak tea right to your car.
Al Marhabani Restaurant - Mandi is one of the greatest Arabian food dishes, originally from Yemen. It includes rice and meat that’s traditionally cooked in an underground oven. The lamb here was outstanding.
Total price - 200 AED ($54.44)
Al Labeeb Grocery - Regag bread - This is a little gem of a shop that Peyman took me to. They make some Dubai street food style crepes with cheese and fish sauce, and it’s awesome.
Price - 6 AED ($1.63) each
Machboos - Finally at Peyman’s house for dinner, he cooked machboos, one of the national dishes of UAE. It was a great way to end this Dubai food tour!
Thank you for watching this Dubai food tour!

Exotic Destinations
Exotic Destinations
INDIA
Awesomely vast, anciently exotic, divinely colourful, India is a mesmerising portrait of sheer beauty and diversity. Holidays in India are full of surprises and delights designed to enthral.
BHUTAN
Bhutan, nestling in the heart of the great Himalaya, has for centuries remained aloof from the rest of the world. Since its doors were cautiously opened in 1974, visitors have been mesmerised; the environment is pristine, the scenery and architecture awesome and the people hospitable and charming.
NEPAL
Situated between India & Tibet, the Kingdom of Nepal is filled with many different ethnic groups, customs and traditions reflected in a wonderfully diverse geography.
SRI LANKA
Delve into the past of ancient Sri Lanka to find sacred monuments, magnificent palaces, recumbent Buddhas, ruined temples and entire lost cities. Be enchanted by the fascinating cultural heritage.
TURKEY
Get acquainted with 20 ancient civilisations, encounter unmatched natural beauty, experience the warm hospitality of the people, and taste the specialities of Turkey's world-famous cuisine.
GREECE
Greece is a vacationer's paradise. Ancient sites and a magnificent playground of islands, each with their own charm and distinct character, offering an abundance of turquoise beaches, clear skies and friendly people.
JORDAN
A kingdom layered in antiquity, from the work of the Nabatean stonemasons to characters such as Moses and Lawrence of Arabia; from ancient cities and Biblical sites to desert castles, Crusader forts and Byzantine mosaics.
EGYPT
From desert landscapes and dry, rugged mountains that reach to the sea, dusty cities full of exotic sounds and smells and green strips of agricultural land snaking along the banks of the Nile. Egypt has something for all travellers from all walks of life.
SOUTH EAST ASIA
Incorporating Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
OMAN
Oman, The essence of Arabia, see turtles lay their eggs at night, dolphins and whales, brilliantly coloured coral reefs, camels, mediaeval forts and watchtowers, local markets, date palm plantations, sand dunes, natural pools in the mountains, beautiful beaches, Bedouin villages and spectacular fjords!
U.A.E
The United Arab Emirates on the south eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula is a bit of an anathema in the Middle East. This union of seven sovereign sheikhdoms was formed when the British withdrew from the Gulf in 1971, and today it is a modern, trend setting conglomeration of high rise cities with state-of-the-art tourist infrastructure, magnificent beaches and a paradise of duty free shopping.
Indonesia
This Southeast Asian nation is one of the most diverse and attractive destinations in the world, with a long string of volcanic islands and a range of topography and culture. It could also be the best value on the planet, with cheap hotels going for $5 a night, often right beside great snorkeling spots. Bali is the most developed island, but even there you can find plenty of deals. On Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, however, it's easy to branch out like an intrepid explorer or get pampered on the cheap in the most popular spots.
Mexico
In mid-2008, the peso was at 10 to the dollar. Now it's close to 13. That's a discount of more than 25 percent in a country that was already a deal. Plus Swine Flu followed by drug gang violence on the U.S. border has meant that travelers have tremendous bargaining power on hotels and tours. To find the best values, visit the historic colonial cities or beach areas where Americans don't outnumber the locals. (As in places where there's no Senor Frog's in sight.)
Honduras
Few people knew anything about this country until it was all over the news last year when the president got forced out of office. You can find fabulous deals on scuba diving packages on Roatan Island. This Caribbean island sits next to the second-longest coral reef in the world, and every hotel seems to offer attractive package plans no matter the season. On the mainland you've got tropical national parks, the rugged Moskito Coast, and Copan, one of the key Mayan sites in the Americas and a great little colonial town.
Guatemala
This is only a shade farther to fly than Mexico, but it is a truly exotic destination. The descendants of the Mayans still dress in traditional clothing in the villages surrounding stunning Lake Atitlan. The Spanish colonial buildings in the city of Antigua are older than anything left standing in our historic city districts. The sprawling archeological park of Tikal is the granddaddy of Mayan ruins, and still surrounded by jungle.
