The Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee is a full-scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. It was built in 1897 as part of the Tennessee Centennial Exposition.
Today the Parthenon, which functions as an art museum, stands as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, a large public park just west of downtown Nashville. Alan LeQuire's 1990 re-creation of the Athena Parthenos statue is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece.

Trip to Bicentennial Park in Nashville, TN
Me and my girlfriend, Brittany decided that while already in Nashville for my appointment at Vanderbilt, we would stop by the Farmers Market in downtown Nashville. Connected to the Farmers market is the Bicentennial park, in front of the capitol building. It is a very beautiful park.

This is the brand new Tennessee State Museum in the heart of downtown Nashville. It opened in the beginning of October 2018. The museum has six permeant exhibits, and one of the largest Civil War collections within the United States. It's also completely free to visit.

Nashville Museums and brunch at Biscuit Love - Full-time RV travel EP 12
We finally stopped in Nashville after driving through a few times in the past 6 months. It was COLD for April, but we found some great museums to keep us warm. We explored the Tennessee State Museum, Nashville Parthenon and the Adventure Science Museum. Our final stop was brunch as Biscuit Love. For a family with young kids - who don't like country music - we had a good time in Nashville.

Hi YouTube friends! Come join my family at this Children's Museum in Murfreesboro Tennessee. It's spacious and has plenty of activities for all kids 10 or so and under. It also has a beautiful board walk through the natural spring that I recommend visiting sometime in late spring or late summer which is our plan; we may even take you guys since we didn't do much venturing through in this video.
