Nashville (Tennessee) - USA - 2017
Nashville is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Tennessee and the seat of Davidson County. It is located on the Cumberland River in northern Middle Tennessee. American Picker Mike Wolfe on Scariest Pick Ever & One Thing Not Worth Collecting
In this episode Nicole Sawyer got the inside scoop on Mike Wolfe's favorite place to eat a hot dog, the scariest pick ever and one thing that is not worth collecting anymore.
Mike Wolfe, creator and star of History Channel’s hit series American Pickers, sat down with Nicole Sawyer, at his store Antique Archaeology in Nashville, Tenn., to discuss how he turned a passion he discovered at 6 years old into an international brand. In the United States alone, the antique and vintage goods retail industry is expected to account for $19.8 billion in 2017, according to IBISWorld. As America becomes a disposable society, Wolfe fears many historical pieces will end up in the trash. He wants to educate people on the importance of historic preservation whether it be old stuff or heritage tourism. You may have something in your home very valuable, you just don’t even realize it!

Antique Archaeology, Grand Ole Opry & Opryland
▶ Check out my gear on Kit:
We took a trip to Nashville, TN and got to see The Grand Ole Opry, take a dinner cruise, eat with fish and explore the Opryland Hotel. We saw the American Picker's store too and saw The Parthenon!
Overall it was a great trip, and we didn't even get to see everything we would have liked to.
(Bonus points for Josh who doesn't even like country music)

2017 Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th
Nashville once again hosted the largest fireworks show in the country. Only after an all-star lineup Chris Young, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jonny P, The Sisterhood, and the Nashville Symphony performed for free throughout the day.

Didn't get to see much of Nashville, but The Parthenon was the highlight of the one day we actually went around the city. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience much of the music scene, but definitely next time!
