NIHONBASHI KYOBASHI FESTIVAL-TOKYO!!!.
A grand parade that takes place at the starting point of the Five Routes of Nihonbashi's main Chuo-dori Ave.
Nihonbashi, literally meaning Japan bridge, it the name of a bridge and the district it's located. The bridge was in the Edo period designated by the Tokugawa Shogunate as the starting point of five major roads heading from Edo (modern day Tokyo) to other parts of Japan, and commerce has flourished here ever since. Kyobashi is the name of the district adjoining Nihonbashi in the south (its name also comes from the name of a bridge called Kyobashi which used to be here).
In late October, a festival called the Nihonbashi Kyobashi Matsuri (日本橋・京橋まつり) is held in these two districts.

Kinshicho in Tokyo's Sumida ward is the biggest commercial area in Tokyo east. In terms of atmosphere, Kinshicho is comparable to Tokyo's Ikebukuro area: down to earth with a more relaxed and, in places, good vibe.
It is about 16 mins to Tokyo station and 21 min to Shinjuku station by train.
Kinshicho, together with neighbouring Kameido - one stop east on the Chuo-Sobu Line - forms one of Tokyo's seven official sub-metropolitan centres.
The area surrounding Kinshicho station is divided into a mostly shopping-oriented north, and the main gambling- and love-hotel-oriented south. North and south are divided by Keiyo-doro Street (an extension of Yasukuni-dori Street), onto which the south side of the station faces.
