Episode 2611.2 | Belmont Mansion | Tennessee Crossroads
Belmont Mansion is the largest ‘House Museum in Tennessee”. It’s in the heart of Nashville, TN and has seen a prestigious university grow up around it. While the University stays on the cutting edge of academia, the home is staying true to its roots of the 1800’s. Join Nashville Public Television's Tennessee Crossroads to find out more about Belmont Mansion.
Belmont Mansion Vlog on my travels Nashville Tennessee MY HAUNTED DIARY
Paranormal explorer James Edward Garcia takes a moment to do a sneak explore of the Belmont Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee while filming with this cell phone.
This is the 3rd intermission vlog episode while traveling and change of living quarters were under way. Back to more quality paranormal explorations in the not too far future for the My Haunted Diary channel.
I visited the Acklen Mausoleum (where owner, Adelicia Hayes Franklin Acklen Cheatham resides) during my exploration of Mount Olivet Cemetery a year back. It will eventually be an awesome episode or two when I finally edit that investigation together.
Adelicia Franklin and husband Joseph Alexander Smith Acklen had Belmont Mansion built, completing construction in 1853.
The moving spirit behind Belmont Mansion is Adelicia Hayes Franklin Acklen Cheatham.
Haunted Sightings at the Mansion:
The full apparition of Adelicia, attired in a 1800s style, ante-bellum gown, has been seen by the security guards, students and museum staff floating around many parts of the villa, going about her business, checking up on the living, making sure things are in place and are being taken care of properly.
It was reported that a woman was walking down a hallway one evening during an event, and who should she see face to face but the apparition of Adelicia, dressed in a elegant evening gown.
It was reported that Adelicia appeared as a full, solid form and told a museum guide that the furniture in one of the bedrooms were not arranged correctly!
This vlog was an improvised spur of the moment video documenting with phone and contains a lot of spooky music I meshed together to give a dark surreal ambience of the past. I do not consider this a real paranormal investigation though I attempted some spirit communication while there.

Belmont Mansion
Belmont Mansion is a historic mansion located in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. Built in the early 18th century, the mansion is one of the finest examples of Palladian architecture in the United States. The property became part of Fairmount Park in 1869 as part of a program to preserve the quality of the water supply. In anticipation of the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition in 1876, a large dining pavilion was built alongside the mansion. Belmont was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places, June 26, 1956. The site continued to be used for public entertaining until it became a historic house museum under the management of the American Women's Heritage Society in 1986. The complex is also available for special events and rentals.
In June 2007, the Underground Railroad Museum was opened at the mansion.
The mansion lends its name to the surrounding neighborhood of Belmont.

Haunting History of ~The Clover Bottom Mansion~ Nashville, Tennessee
The Clover Bottom Mansion is a historic mansion located at 2941 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, Tennessee, United States.
It is the home of the Tennessee Historical Commission, the State Historic Preservation Office. Clover Bottom Mansion occupies land on the Stones River first claimed in 1780 by John Donelson, who abandoned his homestead following an Indian attack. The mansion was built in 1858 and was the centerpiece of the 1,500-acre Clover Bottom Plantation incorporating portions of the house that had been built by the Hoggatts in 1853 and was destroyed by fire.
The ghosts that inhabit the Clover Bottom Mansion tend to haunt the building by making sounds. Most of these sounds come in the form of footsteps. Generally these footsteps will be clearly audible even though the people who hear them are certain that they are the only living people within the building. Many of these footsteps sound very distinctly from a different time period. When downstairs in the house, people will hear the sound of wooden-heeled shoes clicking against the wood floor overhead. The upstairs is accessible only to staff, and even when no staff members are supposedly upstairs, these footsteps are still clearly heard. People will also sometimes hear the sounds of rustling skirts throughout the house, even when there are no women wearing skirts anywhere nearby
