Place LA: Trip to Santa Cruz Island with Friends of the Island Fox
On June 1, 2013, we joined the Friends of the Island Fox ( for a trip to Santa Cruz Island, part of Channel Islands National Park. After a 1.5 hour boat ride to Prisoner's Harbor, we hiked about, inspected the newly restored wetlands, saw the Channel Island Scrub Jay, island specific flora and, of course, the Channel Island Fox, an endangered species that only lives on the Channel Islands of California.

I Just Love to Paddle - Teaser
I Just Love to Paddle is a film about a journey. Set in beautiful Hawaii, filmed almost exclusively on the ocean, this movie follows Nappy Napoleon, a legend in the outrigger paddling world on a 6 day journey of crossing all the Hawaiian channels.
This is the very first such crossing (9 channels, 6 days, one-man outrigger canoes) in the recorded history, but this movie isn't really about paddling. It is about the love of the ocean, the love of our family, it is about how doing what we love is what helps us find place in the universe.
I am the luckiest guy in the world -- he always says. And he means it. Nappy Napoleon is been in the forefront of outrigger paddling since the beginnings of the sport, he is still competitive at the age of 70 and is one of the most active international coaches in the world. That in itself is a good subject for a movie, but it is not what this documentary is about. I just love to paddle is a story of a humble and inspiring hero. It is an insight to a person that has figured out how to live life happily.
I Just Love to Paddle has been touring film festivals around the country. It got Best Action Adventure Documentary in Denver, Co as well as an Honorable mention in Ventura Film Festival.

In Oxnard, state California, there is a famous Santa Claus Statue, a note bale landmark. Santa is nicely painted and surrounded by the nutcrackers Billy and Bo, along with a reindeer, snowman, and a poinsettia surfboard. Built in 1948, Santa was visible half-out of a giant chimney atop an attraction named Santa's Candy Kitchen. A heartless developer bulldozed the Kitchen in 2001, but Santa was saved and moved to his current spot in 2003. The Oxnard City Council at first wanted to kick out Santa, but now that he's been cleaned up they like him. If you would like to see video on how Santa ended up in Oxnard, then on Disc 2 of the movie, Elf, go to the section titled infinifilm. When the new menu comes up select Beyond The Movie Features, and then on the subsequent menu select Santa Mania. The story of Santa coming to Oxnard is the third segment in Santa Mania. Central controllers and most terminal unit controllers are programmable, meaning the direct digital control program code may be customized for the intended use. The program features include time schedules, setpoints, controllers, logic, timers, trend logs, and alarms. The unit controllers typically have analog and digital inputs that allow measurement of the variable (temperature, humidity, or pressure) and analog and digital outputs for control of the transport medium (hot/cold water and/or steam). Digital inputs are typically (dry) contacts from a control device, and analog inputs are typically a voltage or current measurement from a variable (temperature, humidity, velocity, or pressure) sensing device. Digital outputs are typically relay contacts used to start and stop equipment, and analog outputs are typically voltage or current signals to control the movement of the medium (air/water/steam) control devices such as valves, dampers, and motors.

Surrounded by Dolphins While Surfing GoPro Hero HD
GoPro new HERO HD! I was completely surrounded by dolphins while surfing with a nice swell at Tarpits in Carpenteria, CA on Nov 28, 2014. I'd say there were 20+ dolphins in the water with me. This has happened to me before, but luckily I had my GoPro with me this time. Also, this is my first GoPro video! Shot with the new GoPro Hero HD. Watch the whole thing to see some surfing at the end!

UFO Thanksgiving Seagrove Beach FL Florida 2012
I and 2 other people witnessed this U.F.O. over the ocean in Sea Grove Beach Florida on Thanksgiving night 2012. There is only a glance of a reference point so look closely. I have no idea what it was. I cut off the volume on a couple parts because I had music playing in the background and don't own the rights. You can hear the ocean in the background. I had 4 clips because it made 4 passes and I filmed it each time. I mixed them together chronologically. It is raw footage and nothing mixed on the computer .Not software produced in any way.
