33. SAILING FROM NEW ZEALAND TO MINERVA with twenty boats, zero wind, two mahis and a squid.
On May 27, 2017 we sailed from Opua in New Zealand heading north together with about 20 other boats. We reached Minerva Reefs after a week of very strange passage- our most surreal EVER. We arrived in a shallow blue lagoon surrounded by coral reefs and miles of ocean. Minerva Reefs is a strange surreal place too, with very interesting story.
