Hidden Gems of Vallarta Nayarit, Mexico
Many travelers have been in the Mexican resort town of Puerto Vallarta. Its beaches and rich cultural history make it one of the top destinations in the country. But what a lot of folks don’t know about is the Riviera Nayarit itself. It’s just 10 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport but then comes a mostly unknown corridor that stretches nearly 190 miles. And that’s where the smart travelers see the real western part of the country. Here are some of my hidden gems of Vallarta Nayarit.
Retiring in Mexico - Puerto Vallarta
Mexico has several options for retirement. One of the most popular locations is Puerto Vallarta. How ever if you need some other information of other Mexican destinations please contact us.
Is Mexico Safe?
More than 160,000 U.S. citizens cross the border every day and at least one million U.S. citizens live in Mexico. The U.S. Department of Commerce estimates that about 22 million U.S. citizens visit Mexico each year, for business and pleasure. We interviewed more than 100 tourists and people who live full or part-time in Mexico and asked them to give us their perspective on safety.
Travel Secrets TV offers quality advice and objective information for tourists and people who want to retire in Mexico. The Series also deals with unsubstantiated travel warnings and negative press reports about the safety situation in Mexico. The primary goal of Travel Secrets TV is to restore trust in Mexico's tourism.

Cruiser's Paradise, La Cruz, Mexico (Ep. 11) Resolute Sets Sail
In this episode:
After having an amazing time exploring the remote island of Isla Isabel, we head for the relative ease of the La Cruz, Puerto Vallarta area. With everything a voyaging cruiser could ask for we decide to take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and easy life to complete a few boat projects and explore what the area has to offer. Our prep list for the passage to Hawaii becomes one item shorter after we get our solar panel, the lifeblood of Resolutes's power system, lifted out of the way of danger from boarding waves.
Taking advantage of some great sailing weather we head to nearby Punta de Mita and soak in the warmth and hospitality this small destination has to offer. Besides having some pretty legendary surf breaks, the area may have some of the best fish tacos we have ever tasted. Uh Oh, watch out Baja!!

This video shows you how you can get to the La Cruz Hill Lookout (Mirador del Cerro La Cruz) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
You can start off walking on Abasolo street right by the very popular attraction in downtown Puerto Vallarta called the Malecon. You start off walking up toward the hill and antenna along Abasolo street. You'll cross Guadalupe Sánchez st. and Emilio Carranza street.
