Restore Your Cathedral | Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Syracuse, NY
For well over a century, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception has served as the spiritual center of the Diocese of Syracuse.
The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is more than a church, it is our spiritual home.
Just as previous generations have taken upon themselves the responsibility for safeguarding this treasure, I now call upon all Catholics to join with me and each other in the preservation of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Our generous spirit and commitment to the success of this project will see that our Cathedral remains an enduring symbol of the strength of our faith in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse.
Thank you in advance for your support in preserving our Cathedral for future generations—We Are All Its Guardians. For more information, visit cathedralrestorationsyracuse.org.

Palm Sunday 2013 - Procession into the church
Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin (Smoky Mary's), Times Square, New York City. After exiting the church, processing around Times Square singing the hymn All glory, laud and honour and distributing palms, the ministers and congregation gather at the West doors. The procession recalls Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, as described in all four of the canonical Gospels.
The Choir and congregation sing the hymn Ride on, ride on in majesty to the magnificent tune by English/Canadian composer Graham George (1912-1993), written in 1939. The fanfare and arrangement is by James Kennerley, Music Director and Organist at Saint Mary the Virgin.
According to John Mason Neale, the translator of All glory, laud and honour, another verse was usually sung until the 17th Century, at the quaintness of which we can scarcely avoid a smile:
Be Thou, O Lord, the Rider,
And we the little ass,
That to God's holy city
Together we may pass.

St. John's Cathedral (Chinese: 聖約翰座堂), officially The Cathedral Church of St. John the Evangelist and located at 4 Garden Road, Central, is an Anglican cathedral in Hong Kong. It is the Diocesan cathedral of the Diocese of Hong Kong Island and the focus of the Province of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Chinese: 香港聖公會 or SKH; also known as Hong Kong Anglican Church). It also houses the seat of the Archbishop of Hong Kong.
The Anglican cathedral is one of the five cathedrals in the city. Two others are also Anglican, SKH Eastern Kowloon diocesan cathedral of Holy Trinity, Kowloon City, and SKH Western Kowloon diocesan cathedral of All Saints.
