Love Path - Outdoors Croatia
Love Path
Located above the town of Crikvenica, Love Path was named after its most common visitors - young lovers.
The trail was built in the 1930s by forestry engineer Ante Premužić, best known for famous fifty kilometres long trail on the Northern Velebit. His trails often avoid prominent peaks with distant views in favour of modest beauty of micro-locations that they are connecting. Love Path is no exception, returning just below 290m high peak with a view on the sea and Vinodol valley. You can still reach the peak but the last few hundred meters are rocky and demanding.
The trail can be approached from a few sides. We chose entrance below the Badanj fort, the oldest remnant of medieval fortification architecture in the Vinodol region. The fort is magnificent and well adjusted for sightseeing.
Mi smo odabrali ulaz ispod tvrđave Badanj, najstarijeg ostatka srednjovjekovne fortifikacijske arhitekture u Vinodolskoj dolini.
This video was sponsored by Crikvenica Municipal Museum and will be shown as a part of an exhibition about this trail.

Stare ceste iznad Vinodolske doline - Outdoors Croatia
Vinodol Trail Run
Vinodol valley is mostly known for its vineyards, fortified medieval settlements and many historical roads and paths.
Among numerous options, we chose to run along two roads which lead up the ridge that surrounds the valley in the northeast. The first one follows a few serpentines and ends up on the beautiful plateau with many horse herds and a great viewpoint (ramp for paragliders) while the other road overcomes the steep cliffs above Bribir. Those cliffs also provide a few equipped climbing routes.
This video was sponsored by Crikvenica Municipal Museum as a part of the exhibition displaying all the historic background of these unique communications.
Tražimo stare ceste iznad Vinodolske doline povodom izložbe U mreži putova koju 6. srpnja 2018. otvara Muzej Grada Crikvenice, pratite ih na Facebook-u. Hvala Garmin Hrvatska i Iglu Šport na potpori projektu Outdoors Croatia.

NORTH vs SOUTH COAST of CROATIA
We reached the sea! The Croatian coast is surrounded by mountains which makes it absolutely beautiful. We’ve stayed at the north and south coast which were totally different from each other. The north reminded us a little bit of Rio (although we’ve never been there haha) and the south like the Costa Brava. Teddy enjoyed the sea as well at his special dog beach, he was really happy so cute! We’ve explored a lot by running (it’s becoming a thing now) and had so much fun! From nice coast towns, dangerous roads to adventurous mountain trails, it’s all in this vlog! Laurens also cycled for the first time and came back with lots of stories about a ‘secret’ car race!
We show how to seek adventures, to enjoy the little things and to stay positive. Currently, we are travelling through the Balkans with our dog Teddy!

05 PULA
Pula is a city that will instantly return you to the days of ancient Rome. One of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, where gladiators fought, today hosts the world music and movie stars. We also visited Brijuni, a real safari park with animals from Africa, which was the summer residence of Josip Broz Tito. We walked the old complex of underground tunnels that are long more than 40 kilometers.
