Crikvenica is the largest settlement on the coast of the Vinodol coastal area, Croatia, and developed on the site of Roman era settlement and military base called Ad Turres. Population 6,860, total municipality population 11,122 with 90% Croats . The city is situated on the Adriatic near Rijeka in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar county. In the last twenty years, due to urban expansion of Crikvenica itself and expansion of the nearby town of Selce, the two were merged into a mini-conglomerate. Towns near Crikvenica include Kraljevica, Selce and Novi Vinodolski.

Crikvenica, Croatia summer 2017. Well known croatian tourist resort city of Crikvenica settled at North Adriatic coast 37 km South-East from city of Rijeka. In this short movie you can see a Crikvenica town centre, harbour, dog beach, a new square, promenade called Balustrada which connects city centre with a main city sandy beach. There are a few shoots during Swimming Marathon from Silo Island Krk -to Crikvenica with 500 swimmers who swim around 4 nautical miles from Island Krk to Crikvenica city swimming pool in the city centre. After that you can see a few shoots from a main city sandy beach, many excursion ships which makes tours to Island Krk every day and around Crikvenica Riviera as well.
