Winery in Medford Oregon - RoxyAnn Winery
RoxyAnn Winery Inspired by the Rogue Valley's natural beauty and bounty, RoxyAnn Winery was founded in 2002 at the historic Hillcrest Orchard in east Medford. One of Southern Oregon's oldest orchards, Hillcrest Orchard has been directed by members of the Parsons family since 1908. The winery name RoxyAnn comes from the earliest settlers who laid claim to the most fertile portions of the Rogue Valley in the 1850′s and named the tallest mountain peak after a pioneer woman named Roxy Ann Bowen. In 2001, the first harvest of grapes at RoxyAnn produced only 150 cases of a proprietary red Claret that was a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; with the entire production selling out in two weeks. Today, RoxyAnn Winery produces nearly 15,000 cases of award-winning Claret, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Tempranillo, Syrah, and Viognier that reflect balance, complexity and profound depth of flavor.
Our winemaking, under the direction of veteran winemaker, John Quinones, relies upon a balanced and skilled process that strives to fully express the unique attributes of the vineyard in every bottle of wine.

Uniquely Rogue - Belle Fiore
Opened to the public in 2013, Belle Fiore Winery is one of the newest additions to The Rogue Valley’s extensive family of wineries. The building was modeled after French architecture so you will feel as if you’re drinking wine in a castle. If that isn’t enough to make you feel like royalty, the breathtaking views of the vineyards and surrounding landmarks definitely will!

Downtown, Ashland, Oregon
Ashland is a city in Jackson County, in the State of Oregon. It lies along Interstate 5 approximately 16 mi (26 km) north of the California border and near the south end of the Bear Creek Valley, an arm of the Rogue Valley. As of July 1, 2013, the city's population was estimated to be 20,713.
The city is the home of Southern Oregon University (SOU) and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF). These are important to Ashland's economy, which also depends on restaurants, galleries, and retail stores that cater to playgoers and other visitors. Lithia Park along Ashland Creek, historic buildings, and a paved intercity bike trail provide additional tourist attractions.
Ashland, originally called Ashland Mills, was named after Ashland County, Ohio, the original home of founder Abel Helman, and secondarily for Ashland, Kentucky, where other founders had family connections. Ashland has a mayor-council government assisted by citizen committees. Historically, its liberal politics have differed, often sharply, with much of the rest of southwest Oregon.

Wine Industry Booming In Rogue Valley
The Medford Airport is about to grow by about two acres. Jackson County Commissioner John Rachor is an experienced pilot and has a hangar on about two acres of land just outside the airport. Because he no longer has a helicopter and only has an airplane, he has no access to the airport's runways.
Now, Rachor is giving the land to the county in exchange for a 25 year lease with the first 13 years will be free because of the investment given to the county.
