Japan's secluded hot spring with a surprise
Japan's secluded hot spring with a surprise!
We often wonder what is going on behind closed doors and where or what or Japanese looking for when they travel in Japan. Well, my husband planned this trip, he is the tour organizer in our family. One thing he is looking for is the Onsen. He puts a lot of effort in this. This time we went to a secluded area with a very special hot spring, you might never heard about this onsen but it is well known in Japan.

Mayor of Setagaya visits the Ecovillage
The mayor of Setagaya came to the ecovillage today and we had a chat about sustainability. He was here visiting Mayor Ted Wheeler to exchange ideas about sustainable practices. Yu Murakami, an acquaintance from my class at the Permaculture Certificate Course is from Setagaya, a Japanese city near Tokyo that Mayor Nobuto Hosaka governs. The government councils of Portland and Setagaya have formed an association of Cultural Exchange. Their mission is to Establish a new life and work style rooted in the communities of Portland and Setagaya and convey it to our next generation. I look forward to hearing about future collaboration between these two cities.
Tokyo Evening Walk - Ueno - 4K 60 FPS (Slow TV)
In this video I'm taking you through many of the streets filled with restaurants, nightlife and entertainment in Ueno, one of the biggest transportation hubs in northern Tokyo. The walk starts at JR Ueno Station, and ends at Okachimachi, after passing through most of the major spots on the way. I also pass through the Ameyoko market street, just as the shop owners are about to close up for the day.
If you're visiting Tokyo, this is one of the areas I recommend that you check out, especially on weekend evenings, as the atmosphere is very special due to the large number of people dining and drinking outside.
This was filmed on a weekday in July 2019

I went to Ume Matsuri! Plum Festival in English, at Mount Tsukuba! It was so incredibly beautiful, and so incredibly hot out! To summarize, I walked up the mountain, saw the pretty blooming flowers, ate some ice cream, and went to a hot spring ???? I hope you enjoy!
