We will guide you to the only Bhutan Museum in Japan from JR Fukui Station, where is Fukui’s front entrance. In this video, we stopped by at a few places but generally, it is 12 or 13-minute walk to the museum.

Heute begebe ich mich zu den Klippen von Tojinbo in der Präfektur Fukui. Von Kyoto aus ist Fukui City innerhalb von ca. 2 Stunden zu erreichen. Für meinen dortigen Zwischenhalt nutze ich am Bahnhof einen der zahlreichen Locker (ロッカー), um meinen Koffer über den Tag wegschließen zu können.

Today I head to the cliffs of Tojinbo in Fukui Prefecture. From Kyoto, Fukui City can be reached in about 2 hours. For this stop, I use one of the Lockers (ロ ッ カ ー) at the station, in order to be able to lock my suitcase off over the day.

The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is an excellent museum dedicated to dinosaur research and education. It is recognized as one of World's Three Great Dinosaur Museums, and is the largest of its kind in Japan.
The museum is located in Katsuyama City, which is the center of dinosaur research in Japan and home to the country's largest and most prolific excavation site, found just a few kilometers from the museum.
The Fukui Dinosaur Museum spans four floors. The main floor's large open space houses a prominent Dinosaur World exhibition where more than 40 dinosaur skeletons are on display together with great English explanations. They include examples of the local Fukui Raptor and FukuiSaurus, which were found nearby, as well as several life size Animatronic dinosaurs, including an incredibly life like Tyrannosaurus Rex that greets visitors as they enter the exhibition.

Hours: 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry at 16:30)
Closed: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month except in August (closed on the following day instead if Wednesday is a national holiday) and from December 29th to January 2nd
Admission: 720 yen (permanent exhibition), separate admission fee for special exhibitions

Yamashiro Onsen, Kaga / Hokuriku, Ishikawa Pref.
Yamashiro Onsen is one of the largest hot spring resorts in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, an area in the Hokuriku region facing the Sea of Japan.
Yamashiro Onsen has a history of over 1,300 years and has retained much of the traditional culture. The soyu (public bathhouses) in the town center in the area called Yunogawa was built in the Edo period (1603-1867). Ko-soyu, also in Yunogawa, is a reproduction of a century-old soyu.
The region is also the home of world-renowned Kutani-yaki (Kutani ware porcelain) of which fine examples are exhibited in the museum. The old ryokans with red latticework and the traditional houses give the area its authentic feel of historical Japan with an artistic atmosphere.
