The New Jerusalem - The Book of Revelation - The Great White Throne Judgement of Jesus

The great white throne judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15 and is the final judgment prior to the lost being cast into the lake of fire. We know from Revelation 20:7-15 that this judgment will take place after the millennium and after Satan, the beast, and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10). The books that are opened (Revelation 20:12) contain records of everyone’s deeds, whether they are good or evil, because YAHWEH knows everything that has ever been said, done, or even thought, and He will reward or punish each one accordingly (Psalm 28:4; 62:12; Romans 2:6; Revelation 2:23; 18:6; 22:12).
Also at this time, another book is opened, called the “book of life” (Revelation 20:12). It is this book that determines whether a person will inherit eternal life with JESUS or receive everlasting punishment in the lake of fire. Although Christians are held accountable for their actions, they are forgiven in Christ and their names were written in the “book of life from the creation of the world” (Revelation 17:8). We also know from Scripture that it is at this judgment when the dead will be “judged according to what they had done” (Revelation 20:12) and that “anyone’s name” that is not “found written in the book of life” will be “thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
The fact that there is going to be a final judgment for all men, both believers and unbelievers, is clearly confirmed in many passages of Scripture. Every person will one day stand before Christ and be judged for his or her deeds. While it is very clear that the great white throne judgment is the final judgment, Christians disagree on how it relates to the other judgments mentioned in the Bible, specifically, who will be judged at the great white throne judgment.
Some Christians believe that the Scriptures reveal three different judgments to come. The first is the judgment of the sheep and the goats or a judgment of the nations (Matthew 25:31-36). This takes place after the tribulation period but prior to the millennium; its purpose is to determine who will enter the millennial kingdom. The second is a judgment of believers’ works, often referred to as the “judgment seat [bema] of Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:10). At this judgment, Christians will receive degrees of reward for their works or service to God. The third is the great white throne judgment at the end of the millennium (Revelation 20:11-15). This is the judgment of unbelievers in which they are judged according to their works and sentenced to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
Other Christians believe that all three of these judgments speak of the same final judgment, not of three separate judgments. In other words, the great white throne judgment in Revelation 20:11-15 will be the time that believers and unbelievers alike are judged. Those whose names are found in the book of life will be judged for their deeds in order to determine the rewards they will receive or lose. Those whose names are not in the book of life will be judged according to their deeds to determine the degree of punishment they will receive in the lake of fire. Those who hold this view believe that Matthew 25:31-46 is another description of what takes place at the great white throne judgment. They point to the fact that the result of this judgment is the same as what is seen after the great white throne judgment in Revelation 20:11-15. The sheep (believers) enter into eternal life, while the goats (unbelievers) are cast into “eternal punishment” (Matthew 25:46).
Whichever view one holds of the great white throne judgment, it is important to never lose sight of the facts concerning the coming judgment(s). First, Jesus Christ will be the judge, all unbelievers will be judged by Christ, and they will be punished according to the works they have done. The Bible is very clear that unbelievers are storing up wrath against themselves (Romans 2:5) and that JESUS will “give to each person according to what he has done” (Romans 2:6). Believers will also be judged by Christ, but since Christ’s righteousness has been imputed to us and our names are written in the book of life, we will be rewarded, but not punished, according to our deeds. Romans 14:10-12 says that we will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ and that each one of us will give an account to JESUS/YAHWEH.

I have been preaching and teaching Bible for over 50 years. In 1957, I began studying the scriptures diligently after graduating from high school. In 1980, God began dealing with me, bringing me to what I believed was my deathbed in 1985.
In the hospital, I awoke near death crying out to God, Lord, You are going to kill me if I don't quit living for myself and saying all the truth in my power!!!
Thereafter, I began to say these blunt plain words that appeal to the elect sheep. As a result, I began to make more enemies than I could have ever imagined. I was sick and tired of the “mush” gospel that churches were preaching.
My family was confused, and on many occasions on the way home from church, my wife would say, he said such-and-such last week and he said this-and-that this week contradicting what he said the previous week. I began to say to my wife Mary, don't listen to the preacher, because he doesn't know what he’s talking about. Finally, I said, this is a waste of time! We are going home. We are not going to these churches anymore. I will teach you from our home.
Twenty years ago, we started Grace and Truth Ministries which included my wife, son and one other young man. We started taping the sermons shortly thereafter. Grace and Truth Ministries is now meeting in a building located in Hendersonville, TN.
Last year, by the grace of God, we gave away approximately 25,000 DVDs free-of-charge.
We regularly add more television, radio and internet to get the truth to those who have ears to hear.

God Has Chosen
Romans 8:29-30 - For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Foreknow - to have a personal intimate relationship beforehand.
God predetermined that all who belonged to him before the foundation of the world were to conform to the word of God in obedience to Christ.
All that were predestined were called, justified, and glorified (past tense verbs). These were fixed in the mind of God before the world began. (Ephesians 1:4; Acts 13:48; II Thessalonians 2:13). The election of the saints is unto accountability (I Peter 1:2).
The majority of the protestant church held to this doctrine during the reformation. It is the foundation of The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689.
You Baptists are supposed to be believing it and you've discarded this precious doctrine of Grace !!!

This reminds me of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict of sorts where you have both sides that believe in God but are battling for the control of one city, despite the fact that they both profess to believing in God.This film is all about faith and humanity.Baldwin IV (Ed Norton) is the true hero of the film: a gifted, noble and courageous 24-year-old, dying of leprosy. Even finally seeing the ghastly disfigurement behind his serene silver mask does not erase the viewer's perception of his real beauty: his character. The true extent of his disability is played down, however: in his last years, he was blind and crippled, but still went on campaign in a litter, tended by his mother. Also, he is portrayed as essentially peace-loving; in fact, he was a hard-fighting Angevin warrior-king, Henry II's first cousin.Saladin (Ghassan Massoud) also lives up to expectations: brave, tough, charismatic, and shrewd. It is good to see him played by a Middle-Eastern actor, not - as in previous Crusade films - a Western actor in brown make-up, but his ruthlessness is played down. He would have invaded with or without provocation.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation,and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ,was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God,and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day....One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls,who were laden with the seven last plagues came,and he spoke with me, saying, Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride.And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the Holy Jerusalem,descending out of heaven from God, prepared as bride adorned for her husband.Having the glory of God:and her light was like to a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone,clear as crystal.The city was pure gold, like pure glass.The city had a wall great and high,and the building of the wall of it was of jasper.And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.The first foundation was jasper,the second, sapphire,the third;a chalcedony;the eighth,beryl;the ninth,a topaz;the tenth a chrysoprasus;the eleventh,a jacinth;the twelfth,an amethyst.The great high wall had twelve gates. The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl.And at the gates twelve angels;and names written on them,which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.On the east three gates;on the north three gates;on the south three gates;and on the west three gates.He who spoke with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city,its gates,and its walls.The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth.He measured the city with the reed,twelve thousand stadia.Its length,breadth,and height are equal.He measured its wall,one hundred forty-four cubits,by the measure of a man,that is,of an angel.He showed me a river of water of life,clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,in the midst of its street.And the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life,bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month.The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.I saw no temple in it,for the Lord God,the Almighty,and the Lamb,are its temple.The city has no need for the sun,neither of the moon,to shine,for the very glory of God illuminated it,and its lamp is the Lamb. There will be no more night,and they need no lamp light, neither sunlight for the Lord God will give them light.They will reign forever and ever.And there shall be no more curse:but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:And they shall see his face;and his name shall be in their foreheads.And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day:for there shall be no night there.And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,and he will dwell with them,and they shall be his people,and God himself shall be with them,and be their God.And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death,neither sorrow,nor crying,neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away.And he that sat upon the throne said,Behold, I make all things new.And he said unto me,Write:for these words are true and faithful.He said to me,It is done!I am the Alpha and the Omega,the Beginning and the End.I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.He who overcomes,I will give him these things.I will be his God, and he will be my son.
