The Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem was founded in the early 1920s. From its inception, the institute has attracted the best mathematicians. We are currently a leading mathematical institute with world leading groups in dynamics, group theory, logic, combinatorics. Graduates of our department as well as former postdocs are leading research in Israel and worldwide. Rachel Studies Abroad at Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Rachel, a student at Penn State, decided to study abroad at Hebrew University after going on a Birthright trip. She took classes she couldn't take anywhere else, like the Psychology of Migration. Living in the student village, Rachel was surrounded by a dynamic community of international students, making friends she could travel the country with.

The Faculty of Law, Israel’s first law school, is Israel’s cornerstone of legal research and education. Classic legal research is conducted along with trailblazing programs in international law, multi-disciplinary studies and human rights research.
Most leaders in the Israeli legal system, including past and present Supreme Court Justices, are graduates of the Faculty, as are many recipients of the prestigious Israel Prize in Law and Criminology.
The Faculty is also home to the Clinical Legal Education Center, the Minerva Center for Human Rights, the Center for the Study of Multiculturalism and Diversity, the Institute of Criminology, and the Israel Matz Institute for Jewish Law.
