The days were sunny and hot during my visit but I managed to deal with the heat one day long enough to get out, see the sights and make this video. There's a few places to see and hang out at Iasi, actually there's a lot for a small town. here's the Wikipedia links for the places in the video if you want to learn some more about them.

We were in Iași. This city is the most important political, economic and cultural center of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Located in the northeastern part of the country, Iasi was for many centuries the crossing point of the most important commercial routes linking Poland, Hungary, Russia and Constantinople.
Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main center of Moldavian culture since 1408. The city prides itself with publishing the first Romanian newspaper and establishing the first Romanian university. Today, Iasi is home to five universities.

Iași is a university city in eastern Romania, near the border with Moldova. In the center is the huge St. Paraschiva Metropolitan Cathedral, a 19th-century Orthodox church built in Italian Renaissance style. Nearby, the Three Hierarchs Monastery has an exterior decorated with delicate, Moorish-style stone carvings. Backed by Palas Park’s manicured gardens, the Palace of Culture is a vast neo-Gothic building.

Ho trascorso due giorni a Iasi, in Romania, e ho indagato sulla nightlife e su ciò che si può fare in questa città. E' molto organizzata e curata ed il centro storico è ricco di cose da vedere. L'unico problema è che probabilmente in un giorno vedrete tutto.
