Old Towne Orange Day Trip (Things to do in Orange & Irvine Regional Park) OC Travel Guide 4K
Taking a day trip to Old Town Orange. First we visit the Irvine Regional Park where we learned about animals at the Orange County Zoo, rode a paddle boat and a surrey bike with Wheel Fun Rentals, and boarded a train with Irvine Park Railroads. Then we had lunch at The Pie Hole, browsed some antique shops, checked out the historic Watson's Soda Fountain, and viewed paintings at HIlbert Museum of California Art. And we concluded the day roller skating for the first time at Holiday Skate Center. YouTube had turned off our comments. If you want to reach us, please check out our Facebook page:

Orange County, California
Orange County is a county in the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,010,232 making it the third-most populous county in California, the sixth-most populous in the United States, and it more populous than twenty-one U.S. states. Its county seat is Santa Ana. It is the second most densely populated county in the state, second only to San Francisco County. The county's three largest cities, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Irvine, each have populations exceeding 200,000.
Orange County is included in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. Thirty-four incorporated cities are located in the county; the newest is Aliso Viejo, which was incorporated in 2001. Anaheim was the first city incorporated in 1870, when the region was still part of neighboring Los Angeles County. Whereas most population centers in the United States tend to be identified by a major city, there is no defined urban center in Orange County. It is mostly suburban except for some traditionally urban areas at the centers of the older cities of Anaheim, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Orange, and Santa Ana. There are several edge city-style developments such as Irvine Business Center, Newport Center, and South Coast Metro.

Irvine, California
Irvine (/ˈɜrvaɪn/ UR-vyn) is an affluent suburban city in Orange County, California, United States. It is a planned city, mainly developed by the Irvine Company since the 1960s. Formally incorporated on December 28, 1971, the 66 square miles (170 km2) city has a population of 212,375 as of the 2010 census; the California Department of Finance estimates its 2013 population to be 223,729. It has annexed in the past an undeveloped area to the north, and has also annexed the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, most of which is planned to be converted into the Orange County Great Park. The city's mission statement is to create and maintain a community where people can live, work, and play in an environment that is safe, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing.
Because Irvine is home to very good public schools, a large number of jobs requiring a skilled workforce, and residential housing, Irvine was chosen in 2008 by CNNMoney.com as the fourth best place to live in the United States. In 2012, it was ranked in sixth place. In September 2011, Businessweek listed Irvine as the 5th best city in the US. In June 2010, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported that Irvine had the lowest violent crime rate among cities in the United States with populations of more than 100,000, and in August 2008 the Census Bureau ranked Irvine as having the seventh highest median income among cities in the United States with populations of more than 65,000. In 2014, Irvine was named the best-run city in the U.S. by 24/7 Wall Street. Although Mercedes-Benz USA is headquartered in Montvale, New Jersey, the company selected Irvine for the second Mercedes-Benz Classic Center (and the only one outside of Germany), which opened in June 2006.

Railfanning Torrey Pines - 8/15/14
For quite some time, I've wanted to railfan at Torrey Pines, but never got the time to, until August 15th, I managed to get off work early and railfan at the Lagoon / Beach. Torrey Pines is a State Natural Preserve, so access to trackside areas are limited. The majority of shots are filmed from either Carmel Valley Road, or North Torrey Pines Road. Although I did have a scanner with me, the majority of trains did suddenly appear from both north and south without much time in advance.
Train 1 : Amtrak 785 with CabCar #6901 & F59PHI #451. There were pretty bad flat spots towards the CabCar end of the train.
Train 2 : Coaster #655 with F40PHM-2C #2101 & CabCar #2309.
Train 3 : Amtrak 580 with F59PHI #464 & CabCar #6951. Pretty nice shot in my opinion !
Train 4 : Coaster #657 with F40PHM-2C #2104 & CabCar #2302. This train snuck up on me real quick.
Train 5 : Coaster #660 with CabCar #2306 & F59PHI #3002. Nice shot of the Coaster passing Signal #2462.
Train 6 : Coaster #661 with F40PHM-2C #2105 & CabCar #2310.
Train 7 : Coaster #662 with CabCar #2309 & F40PHM-2C #2101.
Train 8 : Amtrak 582 with F59PHI #453 & CabCar #6905.
