Rainbow Bridge Tokyo
Crossing Rainbow bridge over Tokyo bay from the Shinagawa side to Odaida and back. Great views of Tokyo and down to Odaiba. The crossing also used to be part of a regular 10km run.

Each year I have to head to the immigration bureau in Japan to renew my visa in Japan.
In this video you can see the journey it takes to go to the immigration bureau in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
From Shinagawa station to the Tokyo Immigration Bureau, you have to catch a bus and then wait in line (for ages if you arrive late).
It's not my favourite place to go, but it has to be done.

Shinagawa surprend par l'esthétique port de pèche que les urbanistes ont voulu développer au cours de sa courte histoire (le 23 ème arrondissement de Tokyo n'existe officiellement que depuis la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale). Une fois un peu éloigné de la gare dont Shinagawa forme l'un des arrêts de la Yamanote, on se surprend à constater le calme relatif et la quiétude des lieux.

After getting away from Shinagawa Station which form one of the Yamanote line stops, we are surprised to notice how peacefull and how quiet the place is.
