The rich kids of London live in one of the most expensive cities in the world, so thank goodness they’ve got lots of money to enjoy it to the fullest. They love to show the rest of us just how much they enjoy it too, with their social media posts. But these pictures are actually landing their parents in big trouble. You’ll find out why when you follow us as we head inside the lives of the rich kids of London.
The Rich Kids of London Instagram account documents the lives of these privileged youngsters living in England’s capital city. The likes of Dave Sullivan and Chloe Khan fly in private jets, have supercars and generally live the high life. These rich kids love sharing photos of their fancy wheels outside expensive stores like Harrods, five star hotels like The Dorchester, and exclusive nightclubs that the young British royal family members like to party at such as Mahiki.
But all this flaunting of wealth on Instagram is causing some problems for their millionaire and billionaire parents. Financial investigators are using social media posts to identify assets that have been hidden, and fraudsters are using information freely shared online by the rich kids to hack their email accounts and commit cybercrime. It’s a fascinating world once you step inside, and we’re doing just that. From private school problems to the “peasant” put-downs, we’re exploring it all.
Watch our video to go inside the lives of the rich kids of London, and tell us in comments what you think about them all.

The Final Episode | Girls Living On The Streets Of Brighton
In the final episode of the series, Brogan, 24, is in Brighton and has been sleeping rough or squatting across Europe for the past 6 years. She is currently searching for a suitable empty building to squat in. Studies have shown that young care leavers are more likely to have sofa surf or sleep rough than the majority of the population.
After leaving care, Kelly has been sleeping rough and is currently sofa surfing in Hastings. She may have finally found somewhere to be housed.
Becky, another care leaver, is currently sleeping rough in Hove after losing everything, just over a year ago.

Natasha is 22 years-old and has been homeless sleeping rough in London for 4 years
UPDATE: Natasha Is No Longer Homeless
Natasha's GoFundMe page:
Natasha is 22 years-old and has been homeless in London for four years. Only moments before meeting her on a dark rainy night I met two other homeless women. One woman had been on the streets for 33 years.
Natasha says because she is not using drugs or alcohol or pregnant there is no help.
It's hard for to imagine what a young girl like Natasha life is like on the streets. It's nothing but a miracle that she still is positive and can smile.

About Invisible People:
Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. The vlog (video blog) gets up close and personal with veterans, mothers, children, layoff victims and others who have been forced onto the streets by a variety of circumstances. Each week, they’re on InvisiblePeople.tv, and high traffic sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, proving to a global audience that while they may often be ignored, they are far from invisible.
Invisible People goes beyond the rhetoric, statistics, political debates, and limitations of social services to examine poverty in America via a medium that audiences of all ages can understand, and can’t ignore. The vlog puts into context one of our nation’s most troubling and prevalent issues through personal stories captured by the lens of Mark Horvath – its founder – and brings into focus the pain, hardship and hopelessness that millions face each day. One story at a time, videos posted on InvisiblePeople.tv shatter the stereotypes of America’s homeless, force shifts in perception and deliver a call to action that is being answered by national brands, nonprofit organizations and everyday citizens now committed to opening their eyes and their hearts to those too often forgotten.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the way we think about people experiencing homelessness.

Homeless woman sleeping rough in Oxford, England died sleeping outside
UPDATE: Sharron Maasz died sleeping rough homeless in the UK
Sharron has been sleeping rough in Oxford, England for a couple of years now. But what makes her story a little different is that she used to work as they say here in the network, helping rough sleepers as a social services worker.
I was actually first introduced to Sharron via Youtube. Some time ago a documentary crew had produced a short video about her, which you can watch here [ Sharron is a victim of domestic violence that started a downward spiral and her homelessness.
A few nights a week Sharron is lucky enough to sleep on the floor of someone's house. But most nights she sleeps outside calling a children's park home.
Not sure if Sharron knows this or not, but she stated the case for housing first. When a person has been so beat down from life and then spends a good amount of time on the streets, providing dignity is the most important first step. It's nearly impossible to stay sober while homeless, and females on the streets are constantly being abused.
Sharron says as the years have gone by she has less hope for a better life. She wants to get sober and to start volunteering again. She just needs to get off the streets first!
Please watch Shannon's three wishes and then please share her story with your network. No matter where you live, if we all start getting outraged about the rough sleepers in our neighborhood, and let the decision makes know our homeless neighbors need housing and support, we will end homelessness!

U.K. Allows Female Bishops
CBS News RAW: The United Kingdom's Church of England has voted to allow women to become bishops, although many traditionalist opponents argue that only men should be granted this religious title.
Straight No Chaser - Billie Jean/Poison - Feb 9th 2012 - York, England
2nd attempt - not so zooming/blurry x
This was at the Grand Opera House, York, England on Thursday 9th Feb 2012 - we were on the 4th row - the staff asked us not to video just before the guys said it was ok to take photos/videos !
You can hear me and my friend laughing - and the audience - bearing in mind it was snowing outside (and not much warmer inside!) the guys put on a fantastic performance to a full theatre - they ended the night without microphones singing as if you'd walked into a rehearsal room - hoping someone uploads that video
Fab night - next time they tour the U.K - we're going!!

A Walk Through Chester, England
Chester is a walled city in Cheshire, England. Lying on the River Dee, close to the border with Wales, it is the largest and most populous settlement of the unitary authority area of Cheshire West and Chester, which had a population of 328,100 according to the 2001 Census,[increasing to 329,608 at the 2011 Census. Chester was granted city status in 1541.
Chester was founded as a castrum or Roman fort with the name Deva Victrix, during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian in AD79. One of the three main army camps in the Roman province of Britannia, Deva later became a major civilian settlement. In 689, King Æthelred of Mercia founded the Minster Church of West Mercia, which later became Chester's first cathedral, and the Saxons extended and strengthened the walls, much of which remain, to protect the city against the Danes. Chester was one of the last cities in England to fall to the Normans. William the Conqueror ordered the construction of a castle, to dominate the town and the nearby Welsh border.
Chester is one of the best preserved walled cities in Britain. It has a number of medieval buildings, but some of the black-and-white buildings within the city centre are Victorian restorations. Apart from a 100-metre (330 ft) section, the listed Grade I walls are almost complete. The Industrial Revolution brought railways, canals, and new roads to the city, which saw substantial expansion and development – Chester Town Hall and the Grosvenor Museum are examples of Victorian architecture from this period.
UK: Nigel Farage knighted by young girl on RT UK exclusive
Former head of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Farage was knighted by a young girl at RT studios in London, Friday as part of an RT UK exclusive with Sam Delaney's News Thing.
A young girl was brought out dressed as the 'Queen' and knighted the former UKIP leader with a sword as he went down on one knee.
You are now Sir Nigel Farage, stated the show's host Sam Delaney, adding that we're also making you honourary British Ambassador to America and honourary MP for South Thanet because they didn't elect you for real.
My mommy says you hate foreigners stated the little girl after the honourary knighthood ,as journalists could be heard laughing in the background.

Los Angeles Homeless Woman Being Evicted from Her Tent with Nowhere to Go
Jennifer lives in a tent in the San Fernando Valley, an urbanized area of Los Angeles County. She is one of many homeless people being displaced with no place to go on a daily basis in Los Angeles and other communities criminalizing homelessness.
Jennifer shatters all the stereotypes surrounding homelessness. She is sober and does not use drugs. Jennifer is a single mom. She worked two jobs. Jennifer lost both jobs within three months while rent kept going up and up.
Jennifer tries to stay positive. She says every day is good. If the weather is too hot, Jennifer sleeps during the day and then works around her camp at night. She says it's important to keep her area clean just like you would an apartment. It's just a lot harder with you're homeless, and everything is dirt. Many homeless people stay up at night for safety reasons too.
Jennifer is politically active working to get other homeless people to vote. With close to 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles County, collectively that's a very powerful voice. Because homeless people are focused on daily survival, voting or being politically active takes a back seat. To be honest, many homeless people feel powerless. Even service providers rarely listen to homeless people so many homeless feel what's the point of voting.
This is where you can help. Invisible People wrote a post about helping to register homeless people to vote here and equally important, we need you to speak up for homeless people by contacting your state and federal legislators demanding they work to end homelessness in your community
This is the eviction notice posted around the Sepulveda Basin area where Jennifer and several hundred homeless people live. They have nowhere else to go. This criminalization of homelessness and displacement of homeless people is not just cruel, it does nothing to help end homelessness and is a waste of taxpayer money
Invisible People endorses the Services Not Sweeps campaign in Los Angeles. For more information, please click here:

About Invisible People
There is a direct correlation between what the general public perceives about homelessness and how it affects policy change. Most people blame homelessness on the person experiencing it instead of the increasing shortage of affordable housing, lack of employment, a living wage or the countless reasons that put a person at risk. This lack of understanding creates a dangerous cycle of misperception that leads to the inability to effectively address the root causes of homelessness.
We imagine a world where everyone has a place to call home. Each day, we work to fight homelessness by giving it a face while educating individuals about the systemic issues that contribute to its existence. Through storytelling, education, news, and activism, we are changing the narrative on homelessness.
This isn’t just talk. Each year, our groundbreaking educational content reaches more than a billion people across the globe. Our real and unfiltered stories of homelessness shatter stereotypes, demand attention and deliver a call-to-action that is being answered by governments, major brands, nonprofit organizations, and everyday citizens just like you.
However, there is more work to be done on the road ahead. Homelessness is undoubtedly one of our biggest societal issues today and will only continue to grow if we don’t take action now.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating the public about homelessness through innovative storytelling, news, and advocacy. Since our launch in 2008, Invisible People has become a pioneer and trusted resource for inspiring action and raising awareness in support of advocacy, policy change and thoughtful dialogue around poverty in North America and the United Kingdom.
